How exactly has Chase Severino ruined Whitney Way Thore's relationship with best friend Buddy Bell? Fans of my My Big Fat Fabulous Life are still grieving with Whitney on her engagement ending and think it must be extra hard since she also lost a friend in the process of trying to find love.
Fans of the TLC show are currently watching as Whitney tries to plan a wedding that was never meant to happen. Chase and Whitney announced they had called off their engagement back in May due to him getting another woman pregnant. Fans have been split down the middle. Some felt that Chase was a hired cast member to make her storyline more interesting. Back when the news was announced a fan had even claimed that she was on the same flight back from Paris and the two were not sitting together and once in the airport they went their separate ways.
Not only has Chase left Whitney high and dry; he also left her with a broken friendship. Even though Buddy has been Whitney's rock during her devastating breakup fans are wondering if there is any animosity between the two for how Whitney sort of kicked him to the curb while she was engaged.
Chase had made it very clear almost since the couple’s first date that he did not approve of Whitney’s close friendship with Buddy. The two had pet names for one another and would often be on the couch or in bed cuddling. The last straw for Chase was when he visited Whitney at her home in Charlotte to find Buddy sitting in his boxer shorts. But most viewers did not think it was fair for Chase to place limitations on their relationship since it did cause tensions. In the recent episode, fans had to watch Whitney try and speak with Buddy about not flirting or hugging her anymore. Buddy obviously seemed hurt and retaliated with anger.
Since the breakup, Buddy had actually been staying with Whitney and quarantining together for six weeks. He even drove from Greensboro, North Carolina, to pick her up from the hospital after her panic attack. While fans were rooting to see the couple back together, Buddy announced he had found himself a new woman.
