Despite TLC's reality TV show My 600-lb Life concluding its 10th season in February 2022, fans are still awaiting word of an official season 11 release date. While there have been some rumors that the show may be canceled after a decade-long reign on TV, Lifetime has yet to issue confirmation one way or the other.

Until season 11 is officially renewed, now is as good a time as any to look back at the impressive weight-loss journeys in seasons past. For instance, Season 3 (2015) featured incredibly heartening stories involving Amber, Susan, Pauline, Bettie Jo, Angel, Joe, Laura, Charity, Chay, and Marla, many of whom are still keeping their healthier lifestyles intact in 2022 and beyond.

Amber Rachdi

Amber Rachdi worked incredibly hard on the show to reduce their weight and live a healthier lifestyle. The 23-year-old weighed 660 pounds at the start of their journey. After working with Dr. Now and undergoing bariatric surgery, Amber shed 377 pounds and ended up weighing 236 lbs when the oft-forgotten reality TV show was over.

Since leaving the reality TV limelight behind in 2015, Amber appears to be happier and healthier than ever in 2022. According to her most recent Instagram post made 12 weeks ago, Amber has not only maintained her beautiful makeover and looks svelter than ever, but has since changed pronouns from "she" to "they." With 249K followers to date, it's great to see what a positive motivational impact Amber continues to have on her adoring fans in 2022 and beyond.

Susan Farmer

When Susan Farmer joined season 3 of the show, the 37-year-old weighed 607 pounds. After dedicating herself to changing her habits, Susan lost enough weight to undergo gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Now. Alas, lymphoma complicated her recovery during her time on the show.

Unlike the millennial Amber, Susan isn't quite as active on social media in 2022. However, since appearing on the show in 2015, Susan has shared evidence of her impressive weight-loss transformation on Facebook as recently as 2019, which also states that Susan still currently resides in Eddy, Texas. In 2018, Susan told Life & Style she whittled her weight down to 200-pounds or so, which is a stark transition from her time on the show.

Pauline Potter

Much like the others, Pauline Potter has left her controversial TLC reality TV days behind following her stint on My 600-Lb Life. However, thanks to an Instagram update, Pauline has clearly stayed in great shape, which is especially impressive since she made the Guinness Book of World Records for being the heaviest woman alive in 2011.

While Pauline has been the subject of several cruel death rumors on the internet over the years, she is clearly alive and well as seen in her September 24, 2022, Facebook post, which also chronicles her stunning bodily transformation. Currently living in Sacramento with a pair of pups, Pauline continues the trend of Season 3 participants who've maintained their healthy lifestyle 7 years later.

Bettie Jo Elmore

Bettie Jo Elmore became a fan favorite in part due to how much she loved her husband Josh and how much she was willing to lose weight to enjoy a healthy life together. After nearing 700 pounds to begin her journey, Bettie Jo trimmed down to 445 pounds. In 2016, Bettie Jo gave birth to a healthy baby boy named Preston even after a cancerous mass was removed from her spine while pregnant.

Nowadays, it's nice to know that Betti Jo and Josh are still going stronger than ever after celebrating their 10-year wedding anniversary in 2021 and just welcomed their second child, a son named Ollie, in the summer of 2022. Clearly keeping her weight down as well, Betti Jo just went shopping for Halloween costumes a few weeks ago, and also mentioned starting a new job on Instagram this past summer.

Angel Parrish

Angel Parrish was able to put her fast-food addiction behind her during season 3 of the weird TLC TV show to trim down from 570 pounds to roughly 250 pounds by the end of her weight-loss journey. While she hasn't been very active on social media since 2018, like Susan, Angel has taken to Facebook to dazzle fans with her jaw-dropping physical makeover.

Beyond currently calling Austin her home, the Texas native has not shared much about her life in the last few years. However, as someone who struggled mightily with addiction and depression on the show, Angel's glaring positive changes continue to inspire and uplift fans of the show in 2022 and beyond.

Joe Wexler

Joe Wexler showed tremendous gumption to lose roughly 500 pounds on the all-time beloved TLC show, reducing his weight from 777 to roughly 275 pounds. As happy as it is to report that Joe has maintained his slimmer physique since 2015, it's just as sad to inform fans that Joe got a divorce in 2019, which led him to a dark place (per Starcasm).

More tragic yet, per his Facebook account, Joe is mourning the very recent death of his mother, who passed on September 20, 2022, at the age of 57. Luckily, Joe's faith is helping him heal through the painful process. On a more positive note, the image above posted in March 2022 portrays a much healthier man who appears half the age he did on the show.

Laura Perez

My 600-lb Life's Laura Perez poses post-show

When Laura Perez opted for Dr. Now's help, she weighed 597 pounds. After losing 50 pounds on her own to qualify for weight loss surgery, Dr. Now removed 80% of her stomach and helped Laura get down to 357 pounds. Nowadays, she is roughly half that size.

Per Realitytitbit.com, Laura managed to slim down to 182 pounds following her time on the show, which also occurred around the time she separated from her ex-husband Joey. According to Starcasm, Laura married a man named Eric Juarez in 2018, and the two currently have two children.

Charity Pierce

Charity Pierce weighed nearly 800 pounds when she opted for weight-loss assistance on the reality TV show, which depicted her struggle with a flesh-eating bacterium, marital divorce, a family death, and more upsetting personal tragedies. Judging by the most recent social media photo she's shared with fans (above), it's clear Charity has been keeping up with Dr. Now's weight-loss regimen.

Sadly, Charity's health took a turn for the worse when she was diagnosed with kidney cancer around Christmas 2019 (per a 2020 Facebook update provided by her daughter). Per the post, Charity's daughter ensured fans that, "My moms away to better herself. She's had some struggles but is doing great now. That's as far as I'm going to comment about that."

Chay Guillory

No Season 3 cast member has seemingly undergone as many positive life changes as Chay Guillory. The 23-year-old was roughly 600 pounds when he joined the show and has since managed to reduce her weight by 219 pounds.

Aside from becoming a public figure who entertains fans on Instagram and TikTok in 2022, Chay came out as transgender in 2016 (per Daily Mail) and got married to Patrick Mulvey in February 2020 (per Starcasm). Most recently, Chay announced her partnership with Fytoo Eyeglasses 7 weeks ago, offering a 15% discount code for followers to enjoy.

Marla McCants

Marla McCants weighed roughly 800 pounds before accepting Dr. Now's help and whittled the figure down to 534 pounds by the end of her story. Since her time on the show, Marla has lost even more weight, telling Sister Miracle TV she had lost a total of 560 pounds as of 2019.

Since her dramatic weight loss, Marla moved back to Nashville, Tennessee to serve as a motivational speaker and philanthropist making positive changes in the lives of others. She's also become a mother to a boy named Amari, who, per her most recent Instagram post 3 weeks ago, joins a budding superstar sister.
