Directed by Jeremy Garelick, Murder Mystery 2 continues to keep plot details under wraps and has yet to reveal a release date. Although, now that Aniston and Sandler have wrapped, it's likely a release date will be announced soon. Murder Mystery ended on a cautiously closed note, and the film's star power, easily digestible plot, and high ratings paved the way for a sequel - possibly even a trilogy - featuring Sandler and Aniston's married couple. For now, audiences can look forward to a new level of sleuthing being featured on the small screen once more in Murder Mystery 2.
