A new set video from Rob Zombie's upcoming Munsters reboot shows the director walking down Mockingbird Lane. 55 years after The Munsters ended its two-season run on CBS, Zombie confirmed that he was officially working on one of his long-time passion projects, The Munsters. The film is set to be released later this year with Jeff Daniel Phillips starring as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily, and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa. The Munsters reboot will also feature several new characters, including Sylvester McCoy's Igor, Cassandra "Elvira" Peterson as Barbara Carr, and Jorge Gacia as Floop.

The original Munsters series that aired in the '60s starred Fred Gwynne (Herman), Yvonne de Carlo (Lily), Al Lewis (Grandpa), Butch Patrick (Eddie), and Pat Priest and Beverly Owen (Marilyn). The family lived at 1313 Mockingbird Lane, and a running joke throughout the series was the Munsters always being confused by their neighbors being frightened of them. The Munsters will again live on 1313 Mockingbird Lane for Zombie's reboot, and during construction of the set, the director made it clear he was trying to make the exterior look identical to the one in the '60s.

Zombie has shared more photos from set than videos, but this isn't the first look fans have gotten of 1313 Mockingbird Lane. The director thrilled fans by sharing continuous updates and photos of the construction crew's work on the Munsters' mansion and the surrounding houses. Zombie has been very engaged with fans throughout the development and production of The Munsters, sharing dozens of set photos of the inside and outside of 1313 Mockingbird Lane as well as numerous pictures of the cast in their spooky costumes.

While updates on The Munsters are always welcomed by fans, many are looking forward to seeing the first trailer for the movie. With the film expected to come out this Fall on Peacock, Universal should start to begin the marketing campaign in the coming months. However, production hasn't wrapped on The Munsters, so it could be a while before a trailer is released. Given the horror vibe of The Munsters, the movie will likely come out in October, but fans will have to settle for set photos and videos for now.
