Rob Zombie shared the first look at his The Munsters remake cast in full costume in honor of Halloween season. Though the series only aired on CBS from 1964 to 1966 its legacy haunts on as one of the most iconic sitcoms ever made. The Munsters parodied quintessential life in America by following well-known monsters as they attempt to lead a benign existence in the suburbs. Aptly called the Munster family, the main characters were parents Herman Munster (Frankenstein's monster), Lily Munster (a vampire), and grandfather Count Dracula.

Though many have tried to recapture the show's lightening in a bottle nostalgia over the years, there has been little movement. Now, prolific horror director Rob Zombie is putting his spin on the spooky tale. While details of the production have been kept under tighter wraps than a mummy, information has slowly begun to creep out into the world. Zombie himself has been treating eager fans to glimpses of his upcoming movie adaption.

Zombie's latest update came on social media this week as he posted epic snapshots of his main cast sitting in front of the Munster's house. Giving followers a treat for Halloween, the musician excitedly introduced his Munsters. Scroll through the black-and-white photos for yourself below:

From left to the right, the post confirms that Jeff Daniel Phillips (Zombie's 3 From Hell) will play Herman Munster, Zombie's wife Sheri Moon Zombie (The Devil's Rejects) will breath life into Lily Munster, and Daniel Roebuck (Getting Grace) will tackle Count Dracula. As if reading everyone's minds, Zombie also included closeups of his cast in costume. The cast's ensembles stay true to the original series, as does the set looming behind them.

The Munster family's home at 1313 Mockingbird Lane seems to have been erected to a tee on location of the Universal Picture's production in Hungary. Though Zombie has previously teased glimpses at the worn Victorian home on his social media, this is the first full image of the fully-constructed reimagined house. Production has actually built the entire fictional neighborhood of Mockingbird Heights.

So far, diehard fans seem to be happy with the direction Zombie and his cohorts are heading in. The horror aficionado has notably been sharing The Munsters reboot content in black-and-white, causing speculation as to whether his film will have the same aesthetic as the original 60s series. Of course mum's the word on that. In the meantime, fans can keep refreshing his social media feed to get sneak peeks.
