An upcoming technical test for MultiVersus will give gamers another chance to try Warner Bros. ambitious crossover title. First Play Games' free-to-play platform fighting game was officially announced in November 2021 after being heavily rumored throughout the year. MultiVersus' roster includes Game of Thrones' Arya Stark, Batman, Shaggy from Scooby-Doo and a colorful collection of other characters.

MultiVersus will take inspiration from crossover fighting games like Super Smash Bros., but the characters being brought together will be particularly disjointed. All Warner Bros. properties, ranging from DC Comics to Adventure Time to Steven Universe, will be fair game for representation in the game's cast. Each character will also be translated into MultiVersus in great detail, with each one sporting alternate outfits from throughout their unique fictional history. Many of the fighters will also be portrayed by traditional voice actors, with Maisie Williams returning as Arya Stark and Kevin Conroy lending his voice to Batman once again. MultiVersus can solve Super Smash Bros. problems, too, thanks to its free-to-play setup and cross-platform capabilities.

As announced by MultiVersus on Twitter, a second Tech Test will be held from February 25 to March 7. The crossover platform fighter held its first trial run back in December 2021, and next week some lucky fans will once again have the chance to experience the cross-property chaos for themselves. Gamers can register for the Tech Test now on the MultiVersus website, and chosen winners will be notified once invitations are sent out closer to February 25.

Thanks to the wide variety of Warner Bros. properties being represented, MultiVersus' roster has the potential to be more diverse than the ones featured in Super Smash Bros. or Nickelodeon All-Stars BrawlMultiVersus' roster includes DC Comics heroes and villains like Superman and Harley Quinn, and First Play Games will undoubtedly reveal more fighters closer to launch. Popular DC characters like The Joker and Static Shock could potentially show up, and they may face off against totally unrelated figures like Sauron or Daffy Duck. Players of the upcoming MultiVersus technical test may even get a first look at exciting and previously unrevealed characters.

MultiVersus is an extremely exciting take on the crossover platform fighting game genre, due to its colorful roster and free-to-play nature. Some lucky gamers will be able to try out the game for themselves starting on February 25, giving First Play Games valuable feedback to help forge the final version of the title. For those interested in participating in the multiversal conflict, registration for the Tech Test is now open.
