Fans are praising Fessy Shafaat on social media for the fierce competition he brought to The Challenge: Double Agents. After recently sending home Nelson Thomas, the contestant remains undefeated in elimination. Now fans are debating just how good Fessy is.
Double Agents is the second season for Fessy. He got his start competing on MTV on last year's Total Madness. The Big Brother 20 star earned his way to the finals after eliminating three-time champ Jordan Wiseley. The former college football player went on to win two more daily challenges before finishing fourth in the competition. But, he came back for vengeance on Double Agents. He was even ironically called out for crushing on Jordan's now ex-fiancé Tori Deal. Between his feuds in the house and on social media, Fessy is proving that he's a competitor not to be messed with. Most recently, he became a villain in the house after sending home Nelson in Hall Brawl following a shady voting process. Additionally, he upset fellow contestant Amber Martinez last month, when he referred to her as a "layup" in a since-deleted tweet.
But, despite the drama, fans are loving Fessy. A Reddit thread surfaced on Tuesday, January 19 that praised the returning rookie for being "god's gift to the challenge." The Redditor behind the thread went into detail about why Fessy is new man in charge after CT Tamburello's two-decade run on the show. "First off this god beat a man in pole wrestle who has less fingers than him if that doesn’t show pure athleticism I do not know what does," a fan wrote, in reference to when Fessy sent home Jordan last season. "Second mans skated to the final after this and that shows how much skill he has socially and politically." The fan went on to add how the other competitors, including the veterans, come off afraid of competing against Fessy. "Also to point out every [one] is scared of him and they have all pointed that out," the fan explained.
The fan continued to revel over how well Fessy performed last season despite not winning the competition. "Now for the best part he absolutely demolished the final ending up in [an] amazing 4th place," they said before touching on the backstabbing way Fessy ended up sending home his own friend, Nelson. "And for the final part on how he recently beat his best friend in a hall brawl and played dirty," the fan explained. "With all of this combined, this shows how Fessy is god's gift to the challenge." Many fans hopped in the comments to point out Fessy's lack of skill when it comes to puzzles. Viewers of the show know how important puzzles are.
But, with all the fuss Fessy has managed to stir up in his second season, it's clear that puzzles are the least of his worries. His physical and athletic ability proves that he'll become a regular face on the show like CT, Jordan, Wes, Bananas, and many others.
