The next Magic: The Gathering set is Phyrexia: All Will Be One, and it will feature some incredible alternate art treatments as part of its presentation. The past several years have seen MTG introduce a slew of different art styles and foiling processes to its set releases, with each one differentiating the story beats and character art that makes up the distinctive flavor of each plane visited by the ongoing narrative of the popular tabletop card game. While the reception of these treatments has been polarizing at times, there's no doubt that some of them have been particularly inspired choices, and Phyrexia: All Will Be One will almost certainly fall into that category also.As revealed during the official Magic: The Gathering WeeklyMTG show, Phyrexia: All Will Be One will feature several different art treatments, including Oil Slick treatments and borderless horror manga stylizations for important Phyrexians and the heroes fighting them. Perhaps the biggest inclusion art-wise is the return of Junji Ito to the Magic: The Gathering art selection, having previously been featured as a Secret Lair artist. The famed horror manga illustrator and creator will be a prominent part of Phyrexia: All Will Be One art, with a borderless manga version of Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines sure to be a chase addition to the set.Related: Magic: The Gathering Collaborates With Junji Ito In New Secret LairMTG Oil Slick Treatment All Will Be One

Phyrexia: All Will Be One Has Something For Everyone

In addition to the announcement of Phyrexia: All Will Be One art treatments, the newest update from MTG featured some supplemental product announcements. The new Commander decks will be Corrupting Influence (White/Black/Green) and Rebellion Rising (Red/White), with both including a Collecotr Booster sample pack. The Phyrexia: All Will Be One Bundle: Complete Edition releases on March 3 and features the oil slick treatments, while new Phyrexian-themed Secret Lair drops will be announced and available closer to the set's main release date.

Phyrexia: All Will Be One follows a long-running thread in Magic: The Gathering lore, and will feature the culmination of Elesh Norn's plan to compleat the Multiverse. Naturally, the series' heroes haven't taken kindly to this notion, and All Will Be One promises to showcase some exciting clashes between the Phyrexians and some of the most iconic planeswalkers present in MTG's narrative.

The global tabletop release date for Phyrexia: All Will Be One is scheduled for February 10, with preorders already available at local games stores and via Amazon. It's another exciting set release for a product that shows no signs of slowing down in how it approaches the rollout of new cards and treatments, and big gets like collaborations with Junji Ito will continue to broaden the appeal of the already immensely popular tabletop game.
