YouTuber MrBeast is heading to Magic: The Gathering Arena to reward two lucky players chosen at random with $25,000 each, plus additional in-game prizes for other contestants. MTG Arena is a card-based video game where players can collect and battle with digital cards from various Magic: The Gathering collections. Two players go head-to-head against one another in MTG-style combat, and players who jump in on April 23 may get a chance to play against MrBeast himself.

MrBeast is known for his outrageous videos on both his main channel and gaming channel, where participants compete in challenges to earn rewards. Challenges have rewarded participants with thousands of dollars, cars, and even a private island. Now MrBeast is heading to MTG Arena to give players a chance at over $50,000 in prizes. Players will want to get practice in before the big day, collecting MTG cards from classic collections to beef up their odds of winning.

As announced in a press release, MrBeast will play Magic: The Gathering Arena anonymously with fans from 11 AM to 12 PM PDT/2 PM to 5 PM EDT on Friday, April 23. Players who log in during that window on either mobile or PC have a chance to play with MrBeast himself, and he'll be selecting two. Players will needs to play a game in the Friday Night Magic (FNM) at-home event in order to get a chance at facing MrBeast.

Beyond the bragging rights of playing with a YouTube star, MTG Arena players that encounter MrBeast (who's no stranger to gaming) will get a chance to earn one of his famously generous prizes. While not all prizes have been detailed, two lucky players will leave the arena with $25,000 each. If it is like his other videos, like his stints in Fortnite, the first couple players lucky enough to be connected to MrBeast will have to win in order to earn a chace at the grand prize. All MTG Arena players will get a chance at the loot, but those lucky enough to connect to MrBeast will have to be skilled enough to defeat him.

At the start of the pandemic, MrBeast began his gaming channel to bring his wacky challenges and huge rewards to the virtual world. Many videos showcase events held in MinecraftGTA, and Fall Guys among other, and now Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is finding his way into the world of Magic: The Gathering. MrBeast has had many philanthropic endeavors throughout his stardom, giving away large amounts of money and resources to charitable organizations such as homeless shelters, The Salvation Army, and St. Jude Children's Hospital. Those actions have garnered him nearly 60 million subscribers and over 10 billion views.

MrBeast is known for his generosity and being unable to part with contestants without giving away at least a little bit of cash. Perhaps even if players lose against MrBeast he will send a prize their way, but gamers won’t find out until they hop into MTG Arena on Friday.
