Some of the deadliest heroes in the Marvel Universe are about to team up with Ms. Marvel, as a new series of comics will see the shape-shifting hero fight alongside Wolverine, Moon Knight, and Venom. In three new one-shots, Ms. Marvel will join forces with the deadly heroes in a new adventure that will set the stage for what's next for the hero in the pages of Marvel Comics.
Ms. Marvel is one of Marvel Comics' more wholesome heroes, as she's a superhero fan at heart and loves a good ol' fashion team-up. One of her very first superhero team-ups occurred early in her first ongoing series, as she got the chance to work alongside Wolverine in Ms. Marvel #6, where she made sure to tell him about her Wolverine-and-Storm space fan fiction, but to the chagrin of the longtime X-Men hero. However, Ms. Marvel eventually got past the prickly Wolverine's hard exterior, as the issue made for an incredible and unexpected team-up between the two totally different characters. Now, Ms. Marvel is teaming up with Wolverine and some more of Marvel's deadliest heroes.
Marvel Comics revealed details about a series of new one-shots starring Ms. Marvel, where she will fight alongside some deadly heroes. In Ms. Marvel & Wolverine #1 from Jody Houser and Ze Carlos, Kamala Khan will deal with a mysterious threat in New York City. But, when Krakoan technology is compromised, Wolverine and the X-Men will make the trek to the Big Apple alongside Ms. Marvel. Ms. Marvel & Moon Knight #1 from Jody Houser and Ibraim Roberson from Marvel Comics will see Kamala Khan joins forces alongside the deadly antihero as they take on a mechanical threat as they confront travelers of the night looking to bring death. Ms. Marvel & Venom #1 by Houser and Ibraim Roberson from Marvel Comics will feature Kamala teaming up with Dylan Brock's Venom as someone is hunting the antihero. The third and final one-shot will connect all three of the stories together, as a mysterious character is pulling the strings behind the threats facing the heroes. Once again, the main cover is from Pichelli with a variant from Momoko.
Seeing Kamala Khan fight alongside deadly heroes she usually wouldn't team up with should make for an exciting series that takes Ms. Marvel out of her comfort zone. Readers can pick up the Ms. Marvel one-shots as her comic with Wolverine comes out on August 3rd, her Marvel Comics adventure with Moon Knight on August 17, and the finale team up with Venom on September 14.
