Warning: SPOILERS for Ms. Marvel episode 6.

Ms. Marvel's next appearance in Phase 4 of the MCU has been confirmed. Kamala Khan's (Iman Vellani) MCU debut has come to a close now that the final episode of Ms. Marvel has aired. Amongst plenty of action, including trying to save Kamran (Rish Shah) from Damage Control, there was also plenty of heart and laughter too. Ms. Marvel has finally figured out her superhero moniker, thanks to her father, and is now embraced as Jersey City's very own superhero.

The Ms. Marvel finale provided plenty of teases for Kamala's upcoming adventures in the MCU, however. Not only has Bruno (Matt Lintz) told her that there is a mysterious "mutation" in her genes, which explains why she has powers and the rest of her immediate family does not, but a post-credits sting saw Ms. Marvel be seemingly teleported by her bangle activating, somehow bringing the one and only Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) straight into Kamala's bedroom. It is unknown where Kamala went, or how they ended up switching places, but it does provide a fun link to the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel, The Marvels, which will see Kamala meet her ultimate hero.

The Ms. Marvel post-credits scene was followed by another staple of the MCU, a declaration of the hero's next appearance. This confirmed without a shadow of a doubt that the next time audiences will see Kamala Khan in Phase 4 of the MCU will be in The Marvels. The stage has now been set for these two heroes to meet. Here's everything we know about Ms. Marvel's future in the MCU.

Everything We Know About The Marvels

Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan Ms Marvel with Brie Larson as Carol Danvers Captain Marvel

The Marvels will be directed by Nia DaCosta and is set for release on July 28, 2023. Kamala Khan and Carol Danvers will be joined by Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau, who gained powers in WandaVision and has had various aliases in the comics, initially as Captain Marvel, then Photon, Pulsar, and most recently, Spectrum. These three heroes will be facing off against Zawe Ashton's villain, though which villain Ashton will be playing has yet to be established. Though nothing has been confirmed plot-wise, there are plenty of links in Phase 4 of the MCU that could hint at what might happen. Captain Marvel's appearance in the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings post-credits scene might provide an answer as to how Kamala and Carol switched places, for instance. If Carol is looking into the power behind the Ten Rings, that might have led her to Kamala's bangle, as a flashback scene in Ms. Marvel showed that the ClanDestines originally found the bangle in a place where the Ten Rings' symbol was carved onto the floor.

Will Ms Marvel Season 2 Still Happen?

Ms Marvel Strikes A Pose

Whether Ms. Marvel season 2 will happen is currently still unknown. As of yet, the only Disney+ original MCU show that has been renewed is Loki, which was confirmed as a post-credit sting after its season 1 finale, and the animated series What If...?. Other MCU shows, like WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye, and Moon Knight remain one-season shows, as they were all billed as miniseries. The Disney+ Ms. Marvel show was also billed as a miniseries, but that wouldn't necessarily stop Marvel Studios from renewing it later down the line. Ms. Marvel could be renewed for season 2 after The Marvels releases, or Kamala Khan could make her next appearance in an entirely new Disney+ show, or another movie installment, perhaps even a solo film. This all depends on where the MCU takes her story (and the true origin of her superpowers), which will affect her position as a hero in the MCU.

Ms. Marvel's introduction to the MCU has been a successful one, and audiences are undoubtedly excited to see where she goes next. Now that the MCU is introducing newer and younger heroes into its roster, it will be interesting to see how Kamala interacts with the superheroes that she's so admired all her life. With Ms. Marvel intentionally setting up Kamala as a premium MCU hero fan, seeing the payoff of her meeting Marvel's superheroes in real time is sure to be rewarding.
