Andy McQueen, seen in the trailer as well, plays Jay. The ensemble of Mrs. Davis also includes Scream star David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ashley Romans, Tom Wlaschiha, Mathilde Olliver, and Evil's Katja Herbers. Behind the camera, Hernandez serves as the showrunner. She co-writes and executive produces the series with Lindelof. Owen Harris and Alethea Jones will direct multiple episodes.
It was previously mentioned by the cast and creative team that another streaming service passed on the project because there was some concern about depicting algorithms negatively.
