The cast from The Office has some pretty big names in its line up and has created stars out of its cast. While the cast may always be recognized to the series fanbase as their characters, such as Jenna Fischer will always be Pam and Rainn Wilson will always be Dwight, each actor has gone one to do so much more with their acting careers.

Blades of Glory is a comedy film about two rival Olympic figure skaters who must team up in order to take down a greater duo. The star of the film is none other than Deangelo himself, Will Ferrell.
Jenna Fischer also stars in this film as Katie Van Waldenberg, the youngest sibling of the rivaling duo. Jenna plays the main love interest for Jimmy, played by Jon Heder, but is forced by her evil siblings to try and seduce Ferrell's character and Jimmy's partner, Chazz.
The 40-Year-Old Virgin - 7.1
The 40-Year-Old Virgin is a classic and stars Steve Carell as Andy, the 40-year-old virgin. This film was actually one of the first to have Carell as the leading actor.
Andy portrays a lot of Michael Scott's nicer qualities. He has a big heart and struggles to find people to share it with. While Michael is stuck in some pretty toxic behavior towards women, Andy totally respects them. Steve Carell manages to recreate Michael with a softer edge to him.
Galaxy Quest - 7.3
While Rainn Wilson isn't one of the lead characters in Galaxy Quest, his role is pretty perfect and fitting for fans of Dwight Schrute and is the film debut of the actor. Rainn plays the Thermians known as Lahnk and is a big fan of the Galaxy Quest team.
This film is another classic and features a number of famous actors who play - well, actors. The film follows the cast of "Galaxy Quest," a space opera heavily based on real-world Star Trek. Everything gets turned upside down when Thermians come to Earth in order to seek out the Galaxy Quest crew, thinking they're the real deal, in order to stop reptilian aliens from destroying their home.
Crazy, Stupid, Love - 7.4
This film follows Steve Carell and a number of other actors in their troubles in love. Each character struggles with something different, from young love to an unfaithful wife, and the struggles of continuing to make things work.
Steve Carell plays a married man whose wife, Julianne Moore, cheats on him. She deeply regrets it, but unfortunately, he feels like there is no coming back from it. He tries time and time again to get over her, with the help of Ryan Gosling's character, before realizing that he simply loves her. This movie is funny and sad and will become an instant comfort film for any viewer.
A Quiet Place - 7.5
John Krasinski, or Jim Halpert, wrote, directed, and starred in the horror movie, A Quiet Place. This film has pretty high reviews and gained a big following, almost instantly.
The film is set in a dystopian time when creatures that can't see but attack based on sound have taken over the Earth. All remaining survivors must live their lives in total silence, in fear of being caught making a sound. This becomes incredibly different for Krasinski's family in the film, especially with a new baby on the way.
Despicable Me - 7.6
Despicable Me is a movie that has brought a lot of love. Kids love it for the Minions. Moms love it for the Minions. And Steve Carrell plays the main character of the film, Gru.
Gru is a grumpy old supervillain, bent on getting even with his rival and being the baddest bad guy around, until he adopts three little girls that make him realize he has a heart. Steve Carell played Gru in each of the movies and is the voice for the Universal Studios theme park ride.
The Hangover - 7.7
The Hangover is iconic and has had a number of sequels due to the first film's raging success. Ed Helms, or as fans of The Office know him, Andy Bernard, stars as one of the male leads in all three of the films.
He plays the nerdy dentist of the group and he's in a rough marriage where his wife walks all over him, similar to how things would have been in The Office if he had married Angela in the series. Because of his stiff lifestyle, his time in Vegas is a stark contrast to the others and makes for some hilarious events.
The Big Short - 7.8
The Big Short is a movie the stars Steve Carell and a number of other extremely popular actors, including Christian Bale and Ryan Gosling. The movie is about a group of investors and corruption within the mortage market, and Steve Carell kind of acts like Michael Scott if Michael Scott knew what he was talking about at any point in time.
This movie has a pretty serious plot, but there's a humorous dynamic between Carell and Gosling, as they constantly bounce off one another. This film was nominated for Best Picture in the 2016 Oscars.
Little Miss Sunshine - 7.8
Little Miss Sunshine is another cult classic and has a star-studded cast. Steve Carell plays Uncle Frank, a gay and suicidal character who lives with his family after attempting suicide and must go on the family road trip to get the youngest member of the family to her beauty contest, 800 miles away.
The road trip brings a lot up for the family as they all have their own issues that they each are dealing with. Each member of the family realizes that they have each other to love and support. This film is pretty dark but also wildly hilarious and utterly heart-warming.
Inside Out - 8.1
Inside Out is one of Pixar's newer films about feelings who have feelings. This film stars both Phyllis Smith (Phyllis Vance) and Mindy Kaling (Kelly Kapoor) as the voices behind Sadness and Disgust, respectively.
Phyllis totally captures how her Office character behaved in the first few seasons of the show - she was somber and quiet and didn't really think highly of herself. Mindy also managed to tap into Kelly's hate for anything not chic but she broadened that hatred here to pretty much everything.
