This movie is one of the most well-known for any fan of The Devil Wears Prada to like. Following Rebecca Bloomwood who, as the title suggests is obsessed with shopping. It gets in her way of everyday life, but when she lands a role at a finance magazine, she sees that changes are needed.

This brings fashion into the forefront, just as The Devil Wears Prada does, all while also having the career aspect, which is something that makes Andrea Schars a relatable character. Plus, this movie is another very funny one.

Sex And The City (1998 - 2004)

Project Runway (2004 - )

Project Runway is slightly different from The Devil Wears Prada in that it is a reality television show, which makes things slightly more realistic. However, for anyone who enjoys the fashion elements of the movie, this show will certainly prove to be a hit.

The show brings in different designers who all compete against each other in challenges with the aim of winning, which allows them to head to New York Fashion Week with other major designers, putting on a collection. This is very fashion-orientated, but that is also a huge part of The Devil Wears Prada as well.

Total Divas (2013- )

Another reality show that people would enjoy is Total Divas. While this focuses on the world of WWE, following a group of women's wrestling, a huge part of the focus is on their lives outside of the ring. It follows them in their careers as wrestlers but also in love, and with friends in what is a very tough environment to succeed in.

Much like in The Devil Wears Prada, there are a lot of shots taken at each other, with plenty of gossiping and intrigue. There's a focus on fashion and style too, as all the women like to look good, and the fact that they end up coming together as sisters, in a similar way to how Andrea earns the respect of everyone at Runway.

The Intern (2015)

Robert DeNiro and Anne Hathaway in The Intern

The Intern has a very similar feel to that of The Devil Wears Prada, with this story following a 70-year-old man, played by Robert De Niro who takes on an internship. His boss is a top name in the fashion world, and she is someone who has high demands.

Fans of The Devil Wears Prada will find enjoyment in this one as Anne Hathaway takes on the role of the boss here, which is a total flip from her lead role as Andrea. The two main characters end up bonding together well, just as Andrea and Miranda end up doing, and with plenty of comedy placed in as well, this is a movie people are sure to love.

The Bold Type (2017 - )

The Bold Type lead characters stood in discussion

This is a series that looks into the world of fashion, focusing on the lives of three powerful women within a global women's magazine. They don't focus primarily on fashion, and instead are more about life advice, but they certainly always strive to look the part as well.

They have to work hard to get the magazine put together on time, all while dealing with their own personal lives. There's plenty of drama and excitement within this show as there are lots of highs and lows, and the personal relationships are what really drive the show, much like The Devil Wears Prada.

The September Issue (2009)

Anna Wintour in The September Issue

This documentary would certainly interest fans of The Devil Wears Prada, as it gives a real-life look at what the world of fashion magazines is like. This tells the story of Anna Wintour, following her as she prepares for one issue of Vogue magazine.

There's no doubt that elements of Miranda Priestly were based on Anna Wintour, as she is a well-known magazine editor at the top of the fashion industry. This showcased how things really work, and after seeing what happens at Runway, it's certainly interesting to take this type of a look at things.

Queer Eye (2018 - )

Queer Eye Season 5 The Fab Five at the beach

While Queer Eye looks into certain aspects that have nothing to do with The Devil Wears Prada, such as home improvement and learning to cook, the show really is about the personal evolution of people.

The Devil Wears Prada really is all about Andrea growing as an individual, becoming more confident in herself throughout the journey. That's what happens with Queer Eye as well, and while it does that in a much kinder manner, there's still room for some hilarious jokes as well, with the Fab Five all coming out with some great lines.

Mean Girls (2004)

Cast of Mean Girls wearing pink at the mall

Mean Girls is a hilarious teen comedy that also works well as a coming of age movie. Rather than focusing on adults, the movie goes to public school and looks at the different groups of people that exist in them, with Cady being a new school member who ends up becoming involved with 'The Plastics,' only to end up falling in love with one of their exes.

They would actually fit in perfectly at Runway, as their comments are cutting, they love to gossip, and always want to be looking their very best. The movie brings some great teen drama and would certainly be a great watch for anybody who loves The Devil Wears Prada.

Ugly Betty (2006 - 2010)

Lindsay Lohan in Ugly Betty

Ugly Betty tells a similar story to The Devil Wears Prada, in the sense that it follows a character who doesn't meet certain beauty standards and is mocked for it. The show follows Betty, who tries to thrive at the magazine, Mode, which is very similar to Runway.

She takes on the role of a personal assistant and while she isn't the most stylish, Betty certainly is hardworking. The series is comedic, and while some of the one-liners are gentler than they are in The Devil Wears Prada, there something that fans will enjoy, and the fashion links between them are clear.
