Even though when viewers first met the Plath family on Welcome to Plathville they were modest dressers, it seems that over the years, they picked up a tip or two. Kim and Barry Plath raised their children with conservative values and little style. But after four seasons, there have been some extreme transformations, leaving fans to wonder which Plath changed the most.
The Plath family was introduced to TLC viewers as Christian fundamentalists. This meant that the children were expected to dress nicely, with the girls, in particular, covering their knees, chest, and shoulders. While the Plath's lifestyle was unorthodox to most viewers, the kids seemed to embrace living modestly. She was the most rigid when it came to her fashion, as she always wore cap sleeves and long skirts. Fans were shocked to see Lydia Plath wear a pair of jeans in season 4 and actually like them. She still dresses quite conservatively, but she is making small changes every day.
2. Kim Plath
Kim caught Welcome to Plathville fans completely off guard when she appeared in a mini skirt during the season four premiere. The mother had always preached about their modest lifestyle, so fans felt she was acting a bit hypocritical. Kim, who just announced she will be divorcing Barry Plath, shared that she had worked hard on her body and was proud to be able to show it off in tighter-fitting clothing.
1. Barry Plath
Barry sported a new look but kept the same creepy smile he is known for. Amid his ongoing divorce, Barry Plath decided to do a bit of reinventing of his own. The photo, which was taken by Moriah, showed Barry sporting a patriotic running top with no sleeves while he wore a cool baseball cap to protect his face from the sun. Welcome to Plathville fans feel he is upping his wardrobe game in hopes of either winning back Kim or finding a new woman.
