Emma Roberts' Early Exit - The Hunt

Emma Roberts in The Hunt 2019 movie

The horror-comedy The Hunt was met with a lot of controversy around its release, which took away from the fact that it is a pretty entertaining satire in which a group of right-wing people are being hunted by left-wing people.

The movie opens with the would-be targets waking up in a field. The first person introduced is a young woman played by Emma Roberts. She meets the rest of the captives before someone starts opening fire at them. The young woman remarks that she was almost shot before another bullet goes through her head. It is a shockingly quick death for a character who audiences thought was the protagonist.

Lawnmower Decapitation - Becky

Kevin James plays a Neo Nazi in Becky

Another fun horror surprise in 2020 was Becky. This thriller serves as a sort of R-rated Home Alone in which a young girl named Becky faces off against a group of neo-Nazis who are holding her family hostage.

Unfortunately for the Nazis, the little girl is a badass who is ready to take them on. After dispatching the rest of them, Becky takes aim at the ringleader, Dominick. While he is incapacitated on the ground, Becky hops on a ride-on lawnmower and runs over Dominick's head, turning it into mulch.

Freaky Mr. Bernardi

The horror-comedy Freaky is a fun take on the body swap comedies with a young high school girl named Millie switching bodies with the "Blissfield Butcher", a middle-aged serial killer who tried to make her his latest victim. Despite the silly premise, the movie is packed with a surprising amount of gore.

Choosing between the kills in this movie is quite hard, but the top prize must go to the table saw scene. In Millie's body, the Butcher dispatches the high school woodshop teacher, Mr. Bernardi, by pushing him through a table saw, cutting him down the middle.
