After suggesting that Kim not come, her mom decided to show up anyway, which caused a scene and led Moriah to call it one of the most stressful situations she has been in. Plathville fans felt for Moriah to be put in that position when all she wanted to do was play her music.
2. Max & Moriah Breakup
Welcome to Plathville season 4 started out with Moriah in tears, and, for several episodes after the premiere, she was unable to bring Max up without crying. Max and Moriah went through an extremely difficult breakup, as Max kissed another woman and Moriah experienced her first real heartbreak. Though some Plathville fans were sick of Moriah crying over the relationship, others felt sorry for her because she really thought they were going to get married one day after getting the promise ring.
1. Max's Tell-All Video
Moriah had been keeping quiet about the whole breakup, never addressing the rumors directly to protect Max. The only thing to top Max and Moriah's devastating breakup on Welcome to Plathville was when Max made things worse and posted a tell-all video on YouTube to share his side of the story. Moriah said it was the angriest she had ever been when she saw him release a video discussing the intimate details of their breakup and putting part of the blame on Moriah for it. Though Welcome to Plathville fans have turned against Moriah in the past, they felt sorry for her as she was visibly upset by the video.
