Warning! Spoilers for Moon Knight #12 by Marvel Comics

Marvel's Taskmaster wants nothing to do with Moon Knight, as he reveals to a group of vampires looking to bring the antihero down why he should be feared. In a new preview for Moon Knight #13 from Marvel Comics, the copycat villain is asked to consult on Moon Knight. However, Taskmaster advises them not to get involved and fight with the former Fist of Khonshu since he's on a "different level" entirely.

Taskmaster and Moon Knight have battled one another before, fighting in Moon Knight (2006) by Charlie Huston and David Finch. Hired by The Committee, Taskmaster tried to take the antihero down but was met with one of the most violent versions of Moon Knight ever. The antihero beat Taskmaster to a pulp, making him beg for his life as he ripped his skull mask off and revealed his true tearful face. The fight set the tone for their violent relationship. Taskmaster hasn't forgotten the encounter and still fears Moon Knight, telling a group of vampires looking to hunt him down to avoid doing so for their own safety.

In a new preview of Moon Knight #13 by Jed MacKay, Federico Sabbatini, Rachelle Rosenberg, and VC's Cory Petit from Marvel Comics, the vampires of the Structure give Taskmaster a call to deal with Moon Knight. He quickly tells their leader Tutor that they should fear Moon Knight, as he's on a "different level." He recounts Moon Knight's deadly track record, his fight with him, and his brutal murder of Bushman. Taskmaster refers to the antihero as a "blade that's been shaped by a lot of stones." However, the copycat villain admits that's not why Moon Knight is so dangerous.

The rest of the preview shows why the vampires really should fear Moon Knight, as he uses the sun like a sundial to burn a group of Structure vampires he has tied up. Moon Knight demands answers about the organization and where their lair is. But, the last vampire standing doesn't want to go down in a fight, calling Moon Knight weak while mentioning he knows a defector (Reese) is working on his team.

Given their past battles, it makes perfect sense why Taskmaster would tell the vampires to run from Moon Knight and not fight the antihero. The villain has been on the wrong side of a fight with Marc Spector and understandably still fears him after nearly being killed. But, it's unlikely Taskmaster's warning will stop the Structure from going after Moon Knight, as they remain determined to try to take him down - even if it results in their destruction. Moon Knight #13 by Marvel Comics is in comic book stores on Wednesday.
