Pedro Pascal says Moon Knight wouldn't be able to beat The Mandalorian in a fight. Pascal made his debut as the beskar-armored bounty-hunter-turned-father known as Din Djarin in 2019 with the Star Wars series' first season. Now, after two seasons and a three-episode appearance in The Book of Boba FettThe Mandalorian season 3 is on the horizon. Reports have said that Din's upcoming adventure, now with Grogu (Baby Yoda) returning to his side once again, is slated for release later this year, although some have estimated an even earlier arrival.

The initial idea of Moon Knight and Din facing off in a fight was brought up to Oscar Isaac, who portrays the Marvel hero in Disney+'s Moon Knight. Pascal and Isaac are longtime close friends who have enchanted audiences time and time again with their heartwarming bromance. The two have both had the chance to portray main characters in the Star Wars galaxy, though Isaac's Poe Dameron and Pascal's Din live in different timelines and haven't had the chance to meet. Isaac was the first out of the duo to appear in Star Wars and is now doing the same with Marvel. During an interview to promote the franchise's new series, Isaac was asked whether Moon Knight or Pascal's Mandalorian would win in a fight, and he responded without hesitation that his hero would come out on top. He insisted that it didn't matter "if Pedro would agree," because "that's just a fact."

Now, Pascal has earned his chance to respond to Isaac's confident claims. In an interview with Remezcla during the New York City premiere of his newest film, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, Pascal was told what Isaac had to say about the matchup between their two heroes. After letting out a "condescending" laugh, Pascal responded by saying "That's so sweet." He wasn't convinced that Isaac's Moon Knight could match up with the Mandalorian physically, though he did add that Isaac's hero may be able to beat his at a game of Scrabble. It's clear that Pascal doesn't believe in Isaac's supposed "fact" and has pure confidence that Din would win a fight.

Moon Knight And Din Djarin With The Darksaber

With the scenes audiences have gotten so far of Isaac's Moon Knight hero, it's reasonable to ponder whether he or Pascal's Mandalorian would come out of a fight triumphant. The supernatural strength and other abilities the Egyptian god Khonshu has granted to Moon Knight would definitely be useful against Din, though the Mandalorian's beskar would likely keep him safe from any or all of Moon Knight's attacks. The interesting similarity between the two heroes is that underneath their armor and ceremonial suits, they're just ordinary guys with hardships they're struggling to work through. Another fight is the last thing they need; a conversation about how they can cope with what they've been through would be much more beneficial for both of them.

Din's struggles, in terms of his identity as a Mandalorian and the responsibility that weighs him down along with the Darksaber on his belt, are set to become the focus of his journey through The Mandalorian season 3. The sparse details that have emerged thus far about the upcoming season hint towards the inclusion of the planet Mandalore, which— aside from a quick flashback in The Book of Boba Fett — has only been seen in animation. Din hasn't yet processed things such as the Armorer banishing him from their tribe for removing his helmet and coming across other Mandalorians who openly remove theirs, which makes season 3 the expected time for him to do so. With his full name beginning to appear more than his common nickname of "Mando," it's possible that Din might just start creating his own Mandalorian way, which may make him even stronger for a future fight against Moon Knight.
