Marvel Studios plans to submit Loki, Hawkeye, and Moon Knight for Emmy consideration this year. The 74th Primetime Emmy will honor the best in television that aired between June 1, 2021, and May 31, 2022, with nominations set to be announced on July 12, 2022. At the 73rd Primetime Emmy, Marvel Studios made a splash with WandaVision earning 23 nominations, and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier with 5.

Variety has now laid out Marvel's plans for the next batch of series for Emmy consideration. Both Hawkeye and Moon Knight will be submitted in the Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series categories, while Loki will be submitted for Outstanding Drama Series since the announcement of season 2 precludes it from the former category. The studio also plans to submit What If...? for Outstanding Animated Program.

While these shows are all being submitted, it is not a guarantee they will earn a spot. Loki might be the most-watched MCU show on Disney+, but it is going up against a number of well-regarded and established series like Succession and Euphoria, as well as buzzy newcomers like Yellowjackets and Severance. Moon Knight and Hawkeye could score the nominations in the Limited Series, but also both haven't quite captured the cultural zeitgeist that propelled WandaVision to a nomination, although playing multiple different identities may be enough to at least land Oscar Isaac an Outstanding Performance by Actor in a Limited Series nod.
