Director/executive producer Mohamed Diab believes Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight should team up with Hulk sometime in the near future. After initially being introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Edward Norton in The Incredible Hulk, which itself was a soft film reboot of the character after Ang Lee's poorly received Hulk, Mark Ruffalo took over the role of scientist Bruce Banner when Norton was recast due to differences between he and Marvel Studios. Ruffalo would make his debut in The Avengers and carry it on through seven other films, What If...? season 1 and the upcoming She-Hulk series.

Disney+'s Moon Knight marks Isaac's MCU debut as Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee who learns of his true identity as mercenary Marc Spector living with dissociative identity disorder who has become the human avatar of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. Marc and Steven must work together and utilize his powers as the titular vigilante to save the world from Ethan Hawke's cult leader Arthur Harrow. With Moon Knight now a part of the MCU, curiosity is rising as to who he could interact with in the future and those behind the series are sharing their ideas.

While speaking exclusively with Screen Rant ahead of the series' premiere, director Mohamed Diab opened up about Moon Knight's future in the MCU. When asked if there is another superhero he'd like to direct, Diab expressed his interest in Mark Ruffalo's green meanie and believes Moon Knight should team up with Hulk. See what Diab shared below:

"I love a lot of people. I love everyone in the MCU. Oscar said this idea about teaming up with the Hulk. It's a crazy idea to have two people, in a way, who have two characters interacting with each other. Just imagine that back and forth, back and forth, between the four of them. It would be so interesting. I like Mark Ruffalo, for sure. I love everyone, but I'm telling you that interaction could be very interesting."

Diab's tease of Moon Knight teaming up with Hulk isn't the first time dots have been drawn between Isaac and Ruffalo's MCU heroes. Ruffalo was spotted in Budapest at the time Moon Knight was filming while Hawke, who previously worked with the Hulk actor on the 2008 crime drama What Doesn't Kill You, played coy about his involvement in the series, jokingly referencing the lies for Spider-Man: No Way Home that kept many of its stars a secret. With Hulk already confirmed to be appearing in fellow Disney+ MCU series She-Hulk, many have taken to believing the possibility of Ruffalo's character appearing in Moon Knight.

Though many are theorizing that Moon Knight's MCU future is to be a part of the supernatural team the Midnight Sons, a fair assumption given Blade and Werewolf by Night's upcoming arrivals and Doctor Strange's current existence, another possibility could be that of the Secret Avengers. Hulk was recruited to join the superhero team, which consists of Beast, War Machine, Valkyrie, Moon Knight, Nova, Black Widow, Sharon Carter and Ant-Man, in Vol. 2 of the comics, many of whom are already a part of the MCU. Only time will tell if Isaac's Moon Knight will team up with Ruffalo's Hulk as new episodes air on Wednesdays on Disney+.
