Warning! Spoilers for Moon Knight: Black, White and Blood #1 by Marvel Comics

Marvel Comics is set to reveal the Moon Knight of the future in a brand new anthology series, Moon Knight: Black, White, and Blood, where the vigilante will get a cosmic upgrade. In Jonathan Hickman and Chris Bachalo's chapter of the miniseries, they will take Moon Knight 6,000 years into the future, where the last living priest of Khonshu will take to the stars to avenge his fallen god.

Last month, Marvel Comics shared news of a four-issue anthology series called Moon Knight: Black, White, and BloodThe new title will follow the same format as the Elektra: Red, White, and Blood, Carnage: Red, White, and Blood, and Deadpool: Black, White, and Blood anthologies, as the book will feature a rotating cast of creators doing their own spins on the popular antihero. The Moon Knight miniseries will feature stories from Marc Guggenheim & Jorge Fornés and Murewa Ayodele & Dotun Akanda. Perhaps, the most exciting creative team revealed is Jonathan Hickman and Chris Bachalo, who will take Moon Knight to the future in their installment.

This week, Marvel Comics shared new details about Jonathan Hickman and Chris Bachalo's story in Moon Knight: Black, White, and Blood #1. The talented creators will take Moon Knight 6,000 years into the future, where an all-new hero sporting the mantle will travel throughout space to avenge Khonshu. The new version of Moon Knight will get an all-new costume featuring some neat upgrades and futuristic elements. Check out Chris Bachalo's design for the character.

Marvel shared another Chris Bachalo sketch of the new Moon Knight, where the unmasked hero seems to have an eye mark on the side of his head. The future Moon Knight also has a tech-based helmet that looks much more futuristic than the original version of the vigilante's costume. The look is completed with a long-spanning cape and hood, which harkens back to the character's usual costume while offering something new.

The new future version of Moon Knight has a great new costume and design that should make his future adventures a lot of fun. Hickman and Bachalo are two of the top creators working in the industry, so their collaboration should take the new hero in an exciting and unpredictable sci-fi adventure. Marvel's new Moon Knight of the future debuts in Moon Knight: Black, White, and Blood #1, which arrives in comic book stores on April 13, 2022.
