In stunning new art that merges two popular characters from the Marvel and DC Universe, Moon Knight and Doctor Fate become one powerful hero. In awesome new fan art from artist Dax Ramires recently shared on their Twitter account, the two heroes merge as their costumes, powers, and personas are brilliantly combined in a crossover that does both the Marvel and DC characters' iconic looks justice while creating something new and exciting. Both Doctor Fate and Moon Knight have particular roles in their respective universes. Doctor Fate is the most powerful magic user in the DC Comics world. Whoever hosts Nabu becomes imbued with his incredible powers while wearing the Helmet of Fate and other magical artifacts. Kent Nelson, Khalid Nassour, and Hector Hall are among the most recognizable hosts of the Lord of Order. Meanwhile, Moon Knight is guided by the Moon God Khonshu as Marc Spector (who has three other distinct personalities) has a vast array of powers derived from the Egyptian god. Both characters were recently adapted in live-action, as Oscar Isaac portrayed Moon Knight in his self-titled MCU series, while Doctor Fate will appear in Black Adam, played by actor Pierce Brosnan.Related: Moon Knight's MCU Future Confirmed By Oscar IsaacOn their Twitter account, artist Dax Ramires shared their fan art (technically a commission) on Moon Knight and Doctor Fate merging into one combination hero. The result is a costume that perfectly draws inspiration from both the DC and Marvel characters. The Doctor Fate and Moon Knight combination sports a helmet similar to the Helmet of Nabu, but with a crescent moon that wraps around the back of it. In addition, Moon Knight's logo can be seen on the character's chest, while Fate's ankh can be seen as a belt. The color scheme blends Doctor Fate and Moon Knight's most iconic looks with great details throughout, like the white gloves and cape.

This New Hero Would Be Perfect For A Revived Amalgam Universe

The Marvel and DC Universes are lucky that an actual combination hero of Moon Knight and Doctor Fate, like the one seen in the excellent fan art above, doesn't exist. As with the powers of Nabu and Khonshu, the character would be one of the most powerful to ever exist in either reality - with a power limit that may not even be quantifiable. Doctor Fate and Moon Knight have also been known to act unpredictably as hosts for the powerful beings, so combining them might be quite dangerous

It's too bad Marvel and DC don't share an Amalgam crossover universe anymore because the fan art creation would fit beautifully into the joint world filled with combinations of characters and powers. The question remains, would the Doctor Fate and Moon Knight combination hero be called Doctor Knight or Moon Fate? The first option certainly has a nice ring to it.
