"I'm Gonna Get A Crease Right Through My Cowl If You Don't Get That Chopper's Butt Down Here Fast!"

Moon Knight Spotlight Issue Cover

In Marvel Spotlight Volume 1 #28, considered one of the best comics of the 70s, Moon Knight stops a late-night robbery attempt from seven burglars in Manhattan. Finished with his crime-fighting for the evening, he tells his pilot, Frenchie, to land the vehicle before his cowl can develop a crease.

While the question of whether Moon Knight's helicopter will make an appearance remains, his edgy attitude and style of humor might. Hopefully, Frenchie will make an appearance and fans will see the chemistry of the hero and his ally onscreen as portrayed in this comic's panels.

"%$#@! Does Everyone Know My Secret Identity?"

Moon Knight and Arsenal

Released in the tail end of the eighties, Marc Spector: Moon Knight Volume 1 #12 saw the hero team up with a bunch of mercenaries to take down Bushman. Among his team, he was reunited with one of his rivals, Gordon Campbell aka Arsenal.

During an exchange, it is revealed that the crew may know Moon Knight's secret identity, which he only replies with an understandable reaction with covered-up swearing. Some previous MCU heroes were never good at hiding their identities and he could be the next one to be added to the list despite hiding under a masked cowl.

"Speaking Of The Real Daredevil, I Could Use Him Right About Now"

Moonknight & Daredevil Team Up

From the 43rd issue of the Marc Spector: Moon Knight series in 1992, the hero joins forces with other heroes across the Marvel universe to take down an unusual threat. They're up against regenerating villainous doppelgangers of characters like Daredevil, Black Knight, and X-Men's Beast.

His remark on needing other heroes like Daredevil might become a reality. With Matt Murdock's cameo in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marc Spector's remark on other existing heroes could play as a funny referential joke that might lead to where Daredevil could show up next in the MCU.

"Look, Ma - - No Blood. Just A Little Logo For His Straight-Jacket"

Vengeance of Moon Knight

One of the most recent story arcs on the list, Vengeance of the Moon Knight saw Moon Knight return to New York after being chased out of the city by Norman Osborn and wanting to take vengeance on him with guns blazing. He also teams up with Spider-Man in several issues, seeing them take down villains and question one another's morals.

After taking down some goons, Moon Knight cuts a crescent moon shape on his shirt just as Spider-Man swings onto the scene. While potentially wanting to keep it as family-friendly as possible, the joke and his actions among these panels may reflect and work as self-referential humor.

"This Is The Part Where You Tell Me What The #### Is Going On?"

During the Down South arc in the Moon Knight 2009 comic, one of Marc Spector's split personalities took over. Jake Lockley, a taxicab driver, rescues a woman from prison with the help of The Punisher, who is targeted by her father.

After the rescue, Jake lets out his frustration with a covered-up word in a sentence to find out why he is after her. The shift of these personalities and the deadly situations they're in could become a comedic treasure trove that sees each of them reacting to the situations they find themselves in.

"Marleen, Who The Hell's Idea Was It To Throw The Party In A Damned Insane Asylum?"

Moon Knight Comic Marlene

In Moon Knight Volume 8, Marc Spector took himself to Mercy Hospital to find treatment for his multiple personalities. But the result led to a twisted and surreal issue that saw many illusions and visions along his journey.

In one of these panels, one of his personalities points out and asks his girlfriend Marlene about a party at the most unexpected of places. Perhaps audiences will experience the psyche of Marc and the darkly comedic mental images that he sees.

"I Swear, I'm Taking It Back To The Street Level For At Least A Year"

Crazy Runs In The Family Cover

In Moon Knight: Crazy Runs in the Family, he is confronted by some of his most deadly foes. But despite duking it out with the likes of Sun King and Bushman, some panels show his personalities inside enjoying some serenity together.

Enjoying a spot of fishing on a floating rock together, Marc discusses dialing back the foes he faces. After all, he has been up against his fair share of supernatural enemies and might enjoy the street-level gangs and hoodlums. Let's cross our fingers that the people behind the Disney+ series will acknowledge this opportunity to feature these personalities together and show off Oscar Issac's talents and his comedic abilities.

"He's Good. How's Your Dead Family?"

The Punisher talking to Moon Knight

One of the very few featured issues on the list not from the mainline Moon Knight series, The Punisher #14 published in 2018 saw Frank and Zemo battling it out across Manhattan. The Punisher enlists the help of Moon Knight, who shares a funny and bitter exchange.

Jon Bernthal should return as The Punisher in the Moon Knight series as these types of darkly funny conversations among this unusual hero would be a welcome one to see. Let's just hope we see similar faces making an appearance and shock audiences with their blunt approach.

"Wow. I Picked A Bad Moment To Space. What'd I Miss?"

Moon Knight talking to Spiderman

In the 2018 Infinity Wars comic book storyline, Gamora gathers the Infinity Stones in an attempt to reduce half the universal population in her way. During an encounter with her, Moon Knight leans over to Spider-Man for a catch-up on what is happening after zoning out during an important exchange between the Avengers and Gamora.

Anyone of the Spider-Men after Spider-Man: No Way Home would be great to see again and with the character appearing alongside Moon Knight across multiple issues, it would be him to appear. But other MCU characters could appear in the show. But with an unpredictable friend like Moon Knight, tense moments could see a comedic twist with the nature of his disorder.

"Do We Have Beef That I Don't Know About?"

Moon Knight in 2021

In 2021, a fresh take on the character was introduced in the form of Moon Knight #01. The vigilant crime-fighter meets many new and familiar faces in this run, one of whom is Dr. Badr.

With their initial exchange, Moon Knight's split personality affects his memory, and readers are left wondering if this was a comedic effect or if he was being sincere. Regardless, the new show could dive into these scenes and create hilarious scenes among the supporting cast of characters and the relationships they have with one of Moon Knight's multiple personalities.
