When it premieres on Disney+, Moon Knight will introduce one of Marvel Comics' most intriguing characters to the MCU, with the titular character, aka Marc Spector, bringing a complex and unique take on superheroism. The streaming series could also introduce a number of other Marvel Comics characters to the MCU, including supporting characters of Moon Knight as well as some potentially prominent villains.

Moon Knight has been closely connected to a number of superhero teams and characters in Marvel's pages, making this series potentially the first stepping stone to the West Coast Avengers or the Midnight Sons. He's also been associated with some key villains whom fans might think of in connection primarily to other heroes, but the series could be a great way to bring them into the MCU.

Werewolf By Night

Werewolf by Night fights Moon Knight in Marvel Comics.

Werewolf by Night is reportedly coming to the MCU in a Halloween special on Disney+, to be played by Gael Garcia Bernal, but it might make sense for him to appear first in Moon Knight given the connection between the two characters.

Moon Knight made his first appearance in Werewolf By Night #32 in 1975. He hunted down Jack Russell, the Werewolf by Night, not realizing he was a superhero. The two eventually come to terms and Moon Knight was recast in later issues as a hero himself.

The Committee

The Committee plots against Moon Knight in Marvel Comics.

Moon Knight hunted down Jack Russell on behalf of the Committee, a shadowy cabal of international leaders and business people who sought to influence the world and events from behind the scenes. It's very likely they play some role in the series and could already be active in the MCU.

The Committee has similarities to Power Broker Inc. from the comic books and it makes sense that in the MCU they could be part of a conspiracy with Sharon Carter as Power Broker as well as the Contessa. If that's the case, the Contessa is a character very likely to appear in Moon Knight.

Shadow Cabinet

The Shadow Cabinet assembles in Marvel Comics.

Another group that could appear by the end of the series is the Shadow Cabinet. This is Moon Knight's personal support team in the comic books, crafted together from a disparate array of informants, agents, and in some cases criminals.

The Shadow Cabinet helps Moon Knight track down criminals around the world. They include the tech expert Stash, businesswoman Penny Annie, a crime boss named Don G working against his will, and Marc Spector's personal psychologist, who is very likely in the series.

Firebird

Firebird using her powers in Marvel Comics

Moon Knight was part of the West Coast Avengers in the 1980s and many of those characters are now in the MCU, like U.S. Agent and White Vision. One who is not is Firebird, and her powers and backstory may make Moon Knight the ideal place for her to appear.

Firebird got her pyrokinetic powers from a meteorite but thought they came from God, leading to her persona. In the MCU, she could potentially derive her powers from a mystical deity the same as Moon Knight does Khonshu, making including her more likely.

Hobgoblin (Jason Macendale)

Jason Macendale as the Hobgoblin in Marvel Comics.

The Hobgoblin is one of the best Spider-Man villains of all time, but there's a way for this character to make his MCU debut in Moon Knight. The Jason Macendale version of the character from the comics worked with Marc Spector as a CIA operative before becoming Hobgoblin.

The two fought in Marc Spector: Moon Knight #33 when the Hobgoblin was possessed by a demon. Macendale could easily appear in this series and develop into the Hobgoblin or even his other person, Jack O'Lantern, later on in the MCU.

Marlene Alraune

Marlene Alraune talks with Moon Knight in Marvel Comics.

Marlene Alraune is a likely supporting character to debut in the MCU in this series. She is a friend and sometimes lover of Marc Spector from the comics with close ties to his origin. Her father was murdered by Bushman, one of Moon Knight's most powerful villains.

She is a key figure in supporting Marc Spector in his struggle with his identity. She also casts doubt on whether Khonshu is real or not, and could very well play that same role in the streaming series, which will definitely explore Spector's many personalities based on the trailer.

Jean-Paul DuChamp

Moon Knight approaches the Moon Copter in Marvel Comics.

Another key ally of Moon Knight that the series will likely introduce to the MCU is Jean-Paul DuChamp. DuChamp, also known as "Frenchie" in the comics, is a close friend of Marc Spector who becomes Moon Knight's pilot. He flies the Mooncopter and other vehicles.

He also appeared for the first time in Werewolf by Night #32 and continued to play a prominent role in the Moon Knight ongoing and mini-series well into the 2000s, making him a very likely candidate to be introduced in the streaming series.

Avatars Of Moon Knight

Avatars of Moon Knight assemble in Marvel Comics.

The streaming series will likely explore the history of Khonshu and as a result, is very likely to introduce the many avatars of Moon Knight over the centuries. Since Khonshu can't directly interfere n the world, he makes various characters throughout history the Fist of Khonshu.

These different versions of Moon Knight emerged in various times in the past and include Viking and gangster versions of the character. They could easily appear if the series goes back in time to explain the role of Khonshu and his avatars in the real world.

Moon Shade

Moon Knight fights Moon Shade in Marvel Comics.

Moon Shade is a powerful doppelganger of Moon Knight who first appeared in Marc Spector: Moon Knight #42, one of the best Moon Knight comic book issues of the '90s. If the series overlaps any with the multiverse in the MCU, he is very likely to at least be teased.

Moon Shade was created by Magus, the evil version of Adam Warlock, in The Infinity War crossover event. He absorbs the power of Moon Knight variants in the multiverse and could come looking for Moon Knight in the series as a consequence of actions with the multiverse elsewhere in the MCU.

Bushman

Moon Knight cuts Bushman's face off

Bushman is one of the key villains of Moon Knight in Marvel Comics and is very likely to appear in some form in the streaming series. Raoul Bushman was a mercenary who worked with Marc Spector, and he could easily appear in flashbacks or in the present day.

Bushman is one of the deadliest and most frightening villains of Moon Knight, and while the trailer seems to indicate that Ethan Hawke's Arthur Harrow is the main villain, Bushman could be introduced as a secondary villain or teased for future seasons of the show.
