Screen Rant: How did each of you become involved with voicing Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, respectively? Were you familiar with your characters before the show, and what drew you to the show?

Diamond White: I auditioned three or four times, and I got a call saying 'You got it!' What drew me to this role honestly was representation. I loved a black girl being a superhero, it's very important for younger generations to see someone who looks like them and feels like them on-screen.

Fred Tatasciore: As a Marvel fan, I was familiar was Devil Dinosaur. Less so with Moon Girl, but I did know of her. I had auditioned, and had no idea how crazy and amazing the show was going to end up being. I just knew about what Devil Dinosaur was, and I come in doing a lot of creatures and monsters and dinosaurs and stuff, so I kind of came in with my set of vocal stuff and kind of played around, and it was just trying to find his particular sound. So, that was sort of the job there.

Diamond, Moon Girl being a newer Marvel character who has only been around since 2015 probably gave the show a lot more freedom in terms of how you brought her to life. What were some of the ways in which you really tried to put your own stamp on Moon Girl on the show?

Diamond White: I don't know if it was so much about putting my own stamp on it. The team really felt like I fit her, and they allowed me to take her a step further with giving them a list of things that black girls go through so they could incorporate it into the show. My whole thing going into was 'What did it feel like to be a 13-year old?', and that's kind of where I took my inspiration from.

Without going into spoilers, what were some of your favorite moments or your favorite stand-out scenes for each of your characters on Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur?

Diamond White: Well, my favorite episode is the hair episode. So, when my hair becomes my enemy - and trust me, I know how that is! - my hair becomes my enemy in a lot of life moments, so that was definitely my favorite episode.

Fred Tatasciore: I love the hair episode too, but overall, I love seeing the relationship grow between Lunella and Devil, and seeing how close they get and how they figure out their teamwork. It's just very moving to me, then there are some episodes where Devil has to deal with his jealousy of Lunella. One is with Casey, and another is with a little hamster, and he has to realize that he is responsible for this hamster. It's a whole arc that I think is just hilarious, but he starts to learn how to deal with it, and I thought that was really funny.
