Many RPGs have various currencies, and Monster Hunter Stories 2 has bottle caps that can purchase various items, weapons, and armor. There are some repeatable methods to get bottle caps, and others where they will not respawn, making them a rare commodity. In addition, it can be tedious to get many bottle caps at once, although there is an efficient method to getting them instead of searching for them high and low.

With many of the different Monster Hunter games out there, it can be challenging to know which one will suit a player's game style. Monster Hunter Rise, for example, is an action-adventure game, while Monster Hunter Stories 2 is a turn-based RPG-style game. Each has very similar elements to it, such as upgrading monsters, skills, items, and more, but the strategy elements are different when it comes to combat. A big key that will help players in Monster Hunter Stories 2 is that along with Everdens, hunting out the rare Golden Dens is a must to get higher-powered monsters with better stats, skills, and genes.

How to Get Bottle Caps In Monster Hunter Stories 2

Monster Hunter Stories 2 Everden

The easiest way to get bottle caps in Monster Hunter Stories 2 is to get them from Everdens. Everdens are easily identifiable from regular dens, where the Everdens have pillars and a flat roof where common dens have rocks that make up the entrance. To know what an Everden looks like, head to South Kamuna Cape or Pona Grasslands, and they will be against the mountainside.

Inside the Everdens, locate the red chests, and they will have bottle caps inside, with some carrying more than one. There are enemies inside the Everdens that will do their best to get in the way but can get avoided easily. Also, after getting them from the chests, they won't respawn, saving some time later from having to come back. Another way to get bottle caps is to do the quests found in villages. NPCs in the villages will have quests available to do that have bottle caps as rewards upon completion. For example, doing quests through the Quest Board will reward bottle caps such as the En-Egg-Matic Eggs 2 quest that gives three bottle caps when done.

The board quests also have higher levels of the same quest that give more bottle caps. En-Egg-Matic Eggs 3 is one example, and Shadows of Red 2 and 3 are other quests that help streamline the bottle cap collecting.
