On the latest episode of Werq The World: The Docu-Series season 2, Monet X Change opened up about her quick transition from RuPaul's Drag Race season 10 to All Stars 4. In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Monet reflected on her jam-packed 2019, which involved winning All Stars 4 and traveling across the globe with the Werq The World Tour. It also included several other achievements and projects that the queen is now remembered for.

Many fans remember 2019 as the year when Monet X Change won RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 4 alongside Trinity The Tuck. However, in 2019 alone, Monet also hosted the Monet Xposé digital series, recorded weekly episodes for the Sibling Rivalry podcast with Bob the Drag Queen, served as inspiration for a new Marvel superhero called Shade and released her first-ever EP. In addition, she was featured in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial alongside Cardi B. She also traveled the world with the Werq The World Tour, launched her The X Change Rate talk show, attended all of the DragCon LA and NYC events, and appeared twice on The View. As if that weren't enough, she was showcased in a feature spread in New York Magazine. Monet still found time to film her appearances as a Lip Sync Assassin in All Stars 5 and a mentor on RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race, both of which aired in 2020.

During the queen's featured episode on Werq The World: The Docu-Series season 2, Monet X Change revealed that she got the invitation for All Stars 4 one episode after her elimination from RuPaul's Drag Race season 10. During an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Monet acknowledged that most RuPaul's Drag Race queens work really hard, but admitted that 2019 was particularly "hectic" for her: "In the moment, it seems unbearable and it seems impossible." More specifically, Monet pointed out the pressures that Drag Race fans put the queens under: "What's tricky about these things is that you need to have a new look, and [it has to be] a custom look, and you have to get all of those things made. [Everyone tells you that] you have to do this, yada yada. So I kind of [have to] prioritize all those things [for myself]: 'What's important, what should go first, what should go last.' It's really, really, really hard." In the clip below, from Werq The World: The Docu-Series season 2, you can watch Monet talking about her journey from Drag Race season 10 straight into All Stars 4.

Nonetheless, Monet X Change is also quick to point out that there are many benefits to working this hard and being a part of the Drag Race franchise and other ventures: "When you get to reap the benefits of seeing these things on TV, and seeing all of these projects and commercials... Then, it all pays off." Monet credits her team with keeping her grounded and supporting her endeavors.

Fans may not realize just how much work goes into each of these projects, but it is safe to say that the success of Monet X Change is the direct result of a lot of dedication. Now that the entire world is facing the COVID-19 pandemic and most drag entertainers have been unable to earn money for months, Monet is also reaping the benefits of creating shows and podcasts that she can keep recording from home... and appearing on multiple TV series that she had already filmed. It's perfect for RuPaul's Drag Race fans.

Werq The World: The Docu-Series season 2 airs every Tuesday on WOW Presents Plus.
