For fans of the biggest and most heart-wrenching battle in the MCU to date, Mondo is releasing a new poster for Avengers: Infinity War at the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con. After nearly a decade of buildup, Marvel delivered on its promise of an ultimate showdown between the MCU’s mightiest heroes and the Mad Titan, Thanos. The new poster by artist Matt Taylor features every hero who fought against Thanos, in a style both dark and stunning, much like the film itself.
Infinity War broke box office records and the hearts of viewers earlier this year. The film dominated theaters, setting an all-time high for an opening weekend, and becoming the fourth film in history to reach $2 billion worldwide. Infinity War continued pulling fans to the theaters, even with competitors Deadpool 2 and Solo: A Star Wars Story fast on its heels.

Marvel itself revealed Taylor's specialized Mondo poster to the world earlier today. The illustration manages to capture every Avenger featured in Infinity War, which is no small feat, considering the size of the cast. The only Avenger not visible is Bruce Banner, who instead appears to be within the Hulkbuster armor. Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor - complete with his new weapon Stormbreaker - take center stage. The rest of the Avengers are cleverly placed, their positions nearly reflecting the team ups on Titan and Wakanda. Behind them all looms the foreboding presence of Thanos.
The 24-inch by 36-inch Infinity War poster pictured first above will be available at Mondo’s SDCC booth on Sunday, July 22, priced at $80. A limited time print sporting an alternate orange and blue color scheme will also go on sale on the same day on Mondo’s website for $60. The poster isn’t the only Avengers merchandise the company will display at Comic-Con. Mondo is also releasing a series of commemorative pins for $10 each. The pins will feature characters from Black Panther as well as Infinity War.
Following the devastating ending of Infinity War, the ultimate fate of the Avengers hangs in the balance, with no one quite sure who will make it to the conclusion of Avengers 4. Since Thanos has met multiple ends in the comics, there are many directions the Russo brothers could take to close out Phase 3, or they could go in a new direction entirely. Considering how many characters who disappeared in the snap still have contracts to fulfill, fans can expect some of their favorite heroes to return, but at what cost? Audiences will have to wait until 2019 to find out.
