With its unique animation style, lovable characters, and intense psychic battles, Mob Psycho 100 is one of the best new anime series to come out in the last few years. In just 25 episodes, the series delivers moments that are both sweet and sad, and a few of the episodes can be already be considered classics.

While the first two seasons of Mob Psycho 100 were both hugely successful, fans have eagerly been awaiting more episodes since season 2 ended in 2019. In the meantime, fans will have to placate their craving by rewatching some of the best episodes in the series to date.

Season 2, Episode 1: Ripped Apart- Someone Is Watching (8.9/10)

The first episode of season 2 begins with Reigen and Mob battling an evil spirit named Wriggle Wriggle who controls plants using its psychic powers. Back at school, Mezato convinces Mob to run for student council president, but when he's called up on stage to deliver his election speech he can't say a word.

After his speech debacle, Mob's classmate Emi asks him out, but after a week together she reveals that she only asked him out on a dare. Surprisingly, Mob is not bothered by her admission, and he even stands up for Emi when he sees some of her friends tearing up a story she is writing. In a rare moment of vulnerability for Mob, he uses his powers in front of her to put the pieces of the story back together,

Season 2, Episode 10: Collision - Power Type (8.9/10)

Shibata and Musashi throw down

At the start of season 2, episode 10, "Collision - Power Type," Mob is still asleep, and his friends are forced to step up to protect him. Reigen manages to defeat a group of espers sent by Toichiro to kill Mob, but he meets his match in the super-strong member of the Ultimate 5, Shibata.

Thankfully, the members of the Body Improvement Club arrive to help protect Mob and the other innocent bystanders. Even with their muscled physiques, though, the members of the club fall one-by-one until only Musashi remains standing. Just when all looks lost, Dimble possesses Musashi's body and unlocks the full potential of his muscles, allowing him to overpower Shibata's unnatural strength.

Season 1, Episode 11: Master - Leader (9.1/10)

Reigen stops Mob from going 100%

Season 1, episode 11, "Master - Leader," begins with Reigen arriving at Claw Seventh Division's headquarters. He is allowed entry by the espers guarding the building because they mistakenly take him to be the mysterious leader of Claw.

Once inside, Reigen continues his heroics by saving Mob, Teru, and Ritsu from a cursed room that stops them from accessing their powers. Before they can escape, they are confronted by Ishiguro, the Seventh Division leader, and the remaining Scars, Mutsuo, Muraki, and Sakurai. Reigen briefly stops Mob from unleashing his full power, but when Mob sees Reigen get attacked by Sakurai, he loses control and goes 100%.

Season 2, Episode 12: The Battle For Social Rehabilitation - Friendship (9.1/10)

Mob goes full 100% against Toichiro

"The Battle for Social Rehabilitation - Friendship," is the penultimate episode of season 2, and starts with Sho confronting his father, Toichiro. The leader of Claw reveals his plot to take over the world, and with the psychic energy that he'd store in the defeated Claw soldiers, he easily defeats Sho.

Meanwhile, Mob faces Serizawa, the strongest member of the Ultimate 5, and a former social recluse like Mob. Due to their shared past, Mob convinces Serizawa that they don't have to fight and can instead be friends. Mob then confronts Toichiro, but his bid for peace falls on deaf ears. When Reigen appears, Toichiro targets Mob's mentor, which prompts Mob to go berserk and fight Toichiro with 100% of his power.

Season 1, Episode 12: Mob And Reigen - A Giant Tsuchinoko Appears (9.2/10)

Ishiguro attacks the gang

The penultimate episode of season 1 ends on a cliffhanger, as Mob goes 100% after seeing Reigen get cut down by Sakurai. In episode 12, "Mob and Reigen - A Giant Tsuchinoko Appears," Reigen emerges completely unharmed thanks to Mob unconsciously sharing his powers with Reigen.

Reigen then begins berating the remaining members of Claw to show them the error of their ways. Enraged, Ishiguro powers up and attempts to destroy all of the assembled espers along with the entire Seventh Division. However, his attack is cut short by Sho, who quickly dispatches Ishiguro, prompting Mob and the others to leave and pick up their lives where they left off.

Season 2, Episode 13: Boss Fight - The Final Light (9.3/10)

Mob at 100% against Toichiro

Season 2, episode 13, "Boss Fight - The Final Light," features the final battle between Mob and Toichiro. Both Mob and Toichiro use 100% of their psychic abilities, and in the process, Toichiro turns into a bomb that is powerful enough to destroy the entire city. However, by showing kindness to Toichiro, Mob absorbs the overflowing psychic energy into his body and saves the city.

In the aftermath of the battle, Toichirio turns himself in to the authorities, and giant broccoli grows from a seed in Mob's pocket into the Divine Tree. With the help of Serizawa, Mob and Reigen return to their former lives exercising spirits, and things appear to go back to normal.

Season 2, Episode 5: Discord - Choices (9.4/10)

Mob frees himself from Mogami's mind space

In season 2, episode 5, "Discord - Choices," Mob learns about the history of Keiji Mogami. Keiji was once a famous psychic, but after his mother's death, he lost the will to live and became an evil spirit. As a spirit, he possesses the body of Mob's classmate, Minori, and begins to torment Mob as Minori in his mind space.

Mob remains trapped in this mental world and spends what seems like months in a hellish cycle full of torment and bullying. Eventually, Dimple manages to sneak in and restore Mob's memories, which causes all of the spirits Mogami has absorbed to attack Mob. Just when it seems like Mob will be overwhelmed by the army of spirits, he unleashes a burst of power that destroys the mental world, freeing himself and Minori from Mogami's control.

Season 2, Episode 8: Even Then - Continue Forward (9.4/10)

"Even Then - Continue Forward," begins with Mob training for his school's marathon in order to impress his crush, Tsubomi. He improves his performance from the previous year when he finished in 291st place, but he still passes out while he is in 74th place before finishing the race.

Meanwhile, Tsubomi visits Reigen with a friend to get love advice but ends up lying to Reigen to see if he is a conman. Back at Mob's house, Ritsu answers a knock at the door and is confronted by Sho. By the time Mob wakes up and returns home, he finds his home burned to the ground and his family missing, prompting him to lose control of his emotions.

Season 2, Episode 11: Guidance - Psychic Sensor (9.4/10)

Mob shows off his power against Claw espers

Season 2, episode 11, "Guidance - Psychic Sensor," includes two epic psychic battles, one between Mob and Minegishi, and the other between Shimazaki and the rest of the gang. In his fight with Minegishi, Mob gets aid from Matsuo, but the esper loses the flask that holds Mogami's spirit. When the Claw espers smash the flask, Mogami escapes and lays into the assembled espers, and Mob is barely able to convince the vengeful spirit from killing everyone.

While Mob quickly dispatches Minegishi with Mogami's help, Shimazaki proves to be a much tougher opponent. Even with Ritsu's help, the gang is unable to defeat Shimazaki when he fights at full strength, and all looks lost until Reigen manages to deliver a sucker punch that ends the fight.

Season 2, Episode 7: Cornered - True Identity (9.5/10)

For most of the series, Reigen manages to escape being outed as a fraudulent psychic, but that comes to an end in season 2, episode 8, "Cornered - True Identity." Under increasing media scrutiny, Reigen is forced to attend a press conference to defend himself and his activities.

When a reporter asks him why he became a psychic in the first place, he thinks back to the day he first met Mob and realizes that Mob was his inspiration. After Mob prematurely ends the conference with his powers, Reigen asks why Mob still believes in him even though he knows Reigen is a fraud. In one of the best moments of the series, Mob simply answers that he has always known Reigen doesn't have powers, but that he knew his mentor was a good person.
