Luckily the game does a good job of allowing different modes to be played to earn stubs. Playing both single-player and multiplayer will make you stubs and here are some of the easiest ways to do that.

Making Stubs in MLB The Show 21

How MLB The Show 21 Stadium Creator Works

Single-Player

For single-player, simply playing games and progressing your character in Road To The Show will earn you stubs that you can use in both RTTS and Diamond Dynasty. The biggest problem with this method however is the amount at which you earn them. While games are short and won't take long, the average amount of stubs you can earn early on is between 25-100. While that may seem like enough, there are other modes, particularly in Diamond Dynasty that reward stubs at a much greater value.

In Diamond Dynasty, the easiest way for solo players to gain stubs currently is by doing all the moments available. These challenges put you in the shoes of some of the best players to ever play the game and in some of the biggest moments in their careers. Not only are they really fun to play, but most of them are very short and depending on how good the player is, can be completed in under two minutes. The average payout is 35o stubs a piece, and with over 30 of these moments available right now with more on the way, this can help increase your stub count at an alarming rate. You can also earn some of the best players and experience towards this season which can earn you even more stubs on top of what is earned completing the moments.

Multiplayer

For those who enjoy testing their skills against other players, there is plenty of ways to easily earn stubs. Winning games and climbing divisions will earn you 100 stubs at the lowest tier and 15,000 at the highest. Battle Royale can be a great way to earn players that can then be sold on the marketplace, but the 1,500 entry fee holds it back from being an efficient way to earn them.

Speaking of the marketplace, that's also one of the easiest and most efficient ways to make stubs in the game but is also one of the more time-consuming and laborious to do. Doing some research and finding out what players are selling for is a great way to earn stubs, but unless you're pulling packs and players consistently enough to be able to put them back up for auction it's not very efficient. That being said, using the marketplace to get rid of duplicates and players you'll never use is a good way to continually grow that stub stash.

Since the game has only been out a day for most players, easier and more efficient ways to make stubs will start to surface as more people play and the marketplace is allowed to breathe for a second. For now, these are the easiest and most efficient ways to earn stubs in MLB The Show 21.
