Many people consider pro wrestling to be a perfect combination of athletic sports with the drama of soap operas. So, it made total sense in 2013 when WWE started producing reality television shows, beginning with Total Divas. That spawned a spin-off in Total Bellas and then came Miz & Mrs.

This series was ideal since The Miz had a history on reality TV thanks to a long stint on MTV's The Real World and Maryse was a star on Total Divas. The show's best episodes follow their marriage, the birth of their children, and the wacky misadventures they have with their family members.

Proud Papa (Season 1, Episode 4) - 8.2

There are actually a handful of episodes tied with an 8.2 rating. However, "Proud Papa" gets the nod since it has the most total scores given out on IMDb, putting it on top. This early series installment focused on a monumental moment in the lives of both Miz and Maryse.

As the title suggests, it centers on the birth of the "It" couple's first daughter, Monroe. While the moment itself was highly emotional and something fans adored getting to see, the highlight of the episode was likely watching Maryse deal with her mother Marjo as she attempted to keep her out of the delivery room.

Miz Little Lies (Season 2, Episode 2) - 8.3

With a title that clearly plays off of the award-winning HBO series Big Little Lies, this episode of Miz & Mrs. was actually much more comedic than the drama of that show. The focal point was on Miz and Maryse moving all the way back from Texas to Los Angeles.

This was a huge deal since the move itself to Texas was a big part of season 1 and came with all sorts of problems. As they unpacked their things and settled back into Los Angeles (which is ideal for Miz's acting career), they also dealt with the impending arrival of a second baby on the way.

Miz & Maryse Alone Time (Season 1, Episode 9) - 8.3

Although the antics of Miz, Maryse, Marjo, and Miz's parents are wacky enough to make fans laugh on their own, the show often veers into classic TV territory. That's when they choose to put these people into the kind of tropes that are expected on sitcoms.

While the show is reality, some aspects are set up to bring the humor as they would on traditional TV. This episode did that with Miz and Maryse doing anything to get some alone time away from their newborn, which included moving Monroe to her own crib.

Dirt Sheet Duo Rides Again (Season 2, Episode 12) - 8.3

The start of The Miz's WWE career was a rocky one. Fans didn't take him seriously and his fellow wrestlers didn't like him due to his reality television roots. It took a while before he rose to prominence and gained respect, which he did alongside his tag team partner, John Morrison.

This season 2 episode saw Miz reunite with Morrison as the latter inked a new deal with WWE. Just seeing them interact again was a welcome sight for viewers. There was also some fun role reversal going on as Maryse prepped for a part in a movie.

Miz's First Pitch (Season 1, Episode 13) - 8.4

He might be a big wrestling star with a Hollywood career as well but The Miz has never forgotten where he came from. The man makes his love for his hometown of Cleveland evident, which was at the forefront of this episode, "Miz's First Pitch."

In it, Miz got to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before a game, representing his favorite Major League Baseball team. On top of that, this episode was hilarious for Miz and Marjo having a war of posting embarrassing videos online and the subplot of Maryse working hard to wrestle again.

Baby Gender Miztery (Season 2, Episode 3) - 8.5

As noted, the start of season 2 focused on the news of Maryse's second pregnancy. This episode showcased that as a gender reveal party was hosted, which brought many of the family's friends together. That included music stars, wrestlers, actors, and more.

Although most viewers already knew that the baby was a girl, the episode was still a blast due to the personalities involved. There was also a subplot where Miz's father George basked in the glory of his small fame after appearing in a much meme'd segment at WrestleMania.

Mizectomy (Season 2, Episode 20) - 8.6

"Mizectomy" is actually the most recent episode of Miz & Mrs. to air. Wrapping up season 2, this finale worked because it combined the two things that fans like most about the series.

First, it had a storyline where Miz had second thoughts about getting a vasectomy and viewers love when the show is about family matters. On the other side of things, hilarity ensued when Maryse took George for a makeover and the antics of the in-laws are always a highlight of this reality series. Putting those plots together made for a great ending.

Miz Fest (Season 1, Episode 14) - 8.6

During his run on season 30 of Dancing with the Stars, The Miz was often praised by the judges for his impressive physique. As a pro wrestler, it makes sense that he's in great shape and looks good. Alas, that's not what he believed in this episode.

"Miz Fest" saw the titular father struggle with what he deemed to be his "dad bod." As he did this, Maryse planned a surprise birthday party for him, which meant many familiar faces showed up to add to the fun of the situation.

French Invasion (Season 1, Episode 19) - 8.8

Miz stands between two arrow targets

The penultimate episode of season 1 saw a bit of a change to the show's format. Most of the time, other than Maryse's mother Marjo, it's Miz's family who is front and center. His parents are around pretty often and his friends from wrestling and Cleveland pop up from time to time.

Maryse's family, being from Quebec, are a rare sight, so their arrival made "French Invasion" a treat. That set up some zany interactions but the real major angle of this installment saw Miz get too competitive in video games against fellow wrestler/YouTuber Xavier Woods, losing Maryse's championship belt to him in a bet.

IT Couple In LA (Season 1, Episode 20) - 9.0

Miz and Maryse arrive in LA

The final two episodes of Miz & Mrs. season 1 was the series at its best. Those two installments scored the highest, with the finale ranking just slightly above. The "IT Couple in LA" saw Miz and Maryse return to Los Angeles for the first time since their major move to Texas.

Some of the usual antics were had, like Maryse's pants ripping while out in public but things took a more serious turn late. She revealed that she was pregnant for a second time and it sent them on the path back to Los Angeles for good.
