A new video has surfaced in the Minecraft community that depicts a Warden withstanding multiple End Crystal blasts, showcasing just how strong this enemy type is. Wardens are menacing blind monsters that live in Minecraft's Deep Dark biome. While they are rare, there are plenty of tips offered by Minecraft experts on how to deal with these hulking monstrosities, including throwing snowballs to avert their attention.

Plenty of Minecraft players use the game as a form of relaxation or artistic expression; through the game's Creative Mode, gamers have access to all the tools they need to piece together their creations, and can do so free from the risks posed by the game's many monsters. For gamers interested in more of a traditional challenge, there is Survival Mode, which puts players up against a host of antagonistic zombies, spiders, and Lovecraftian entities that live in alternate dimensions. The game offers an arsenal of weapons that can be used for the purpose of self-defense, but players can also take a more extreme approach by coveting Minecraft's ultra-rare End Crystals, which can either be found atop the obsidian pillars in The End or crafted with other rare components like the Eye of Ender. It can take a lot of effort to obtain these crystals, but they can ultimately be used to deal out massive amounts of explosive damage, making them a very useful resource.

For any Minecraft players who may have thought that having these strong items would protect them against any and all of the game's forces, the Wardens are here to rain on the parade. In a video shared to the Minecraft subreddit, Reddit user NecroVecro shows just how tough Minecraft's Wardens can be to beat. The encounter with the Warden begins with NecroVecro tossing snowballs to the opposite end of their shared space before changing course and laying down an End Crystal. Just one blast from this item would take down most enemies, but NecroVecro has to expend nine total End Crystals before the Warden is expired.

From the video, it seems as though Minecraft's Wardens may have more health than the Ender Dragon, which is typically seen as the most powerful enemy in the game. This will likely terrify many players who have yet to encounter these new additions to Minecraft. Considering the fact that they're blind, gamers might be better off just trying to sneak past them than face them head-on.

While the game is generally considered as lighthearted and child-friendly, Minecraft's many scary enemies prove it can also be rather intimidating. There is no shortage of danger present in this best-selling title, which might make some fans appreciate the Creative Mode even more. Unless the Warden gets nerfed in a future patch, it will likely remain as one of the biggest threats in the game.
