Recently, a Minecraft player on Reddit shared photos of an entire world filled with breathtaking scenes, all of which had been accidentally deleted by the player. Mojang Studio's survival/crafting sandbox game has become a very popular way for players to let their creativity shine and for them to showcase the impressive worlds they create.

Minecraft players often spend significant amounts of time building in-game, like one Minecraft player who spent five years building a highway. It can take players quite some time to perfect their building techniques. Each builder has their own style and way of making builds, but it can take a while to get to the impressive level often seen on Reddit. Players usually spend a lot of time learning the fundamentals of the game, especially when playing in survival mode, where etting the materials required to make a large build can take a while. In creative mode, the materials are readily accessible, but it still takes time to learn the basics of building and perfect one's architectural skills. Players often spend years learning the techniques to build these fantastical structures.

Reddit user UnPonkSauvage shared the impressive world they had been working on for two years. Unfortunately, all of their hard work was accidentally deleted and they lost their whole world. In the 10 years Minecraft has been aroundmany players make sure to have a backup save, but UnPonkSauvage said they didn't and regret it. In the Reddit post, UnPonkSauvage shared 20 photos of their work that showcased different aspects of the world they had created over the two years. There was a giant pirate ship and a shipwreck they had created. OP shared their three different zoos, which included an ocean zoo, a cave zoo, and even a Nether zoo with a ghast as its centerpiece.

Amongst the other impressive builds in the world is a floating island that appears to have an observatory and two very large towers. Some other scenes included a castle, a hotel, a great bridge, and a lighthouse. The builder even had an entire villager trading hall, which almost resembles a farmer's market with villagers in different stalls that players can visit to trade items. Luckily, in a comment, UnPonkSauvage noted that they were able to recover the files for their world but noted that it was a bit corrupt. They did not specify how much of their build was still intact, but they were happy to recover what they could. Some commenters mentioned that the newer Minecraft updates had made saving backup files much easier, and UnPonkSauvage seems to have learned their lesson. They also mentioned that even though they got this world back, they have decided to move on to a new world and challenge themselves even more.

The Minecraft community is always creating impressive builds. Players are constantly challenging themselves to make builds like none other, like one Minecraft player that built a science fiction-inspired village. Hopefully, UnPonkSauvage's tragic tale will be a warning to other Minecraft players to make sure to always have a backup save when working on something as massive as this world.
