An amazing Minecraft build uses a tiny blocks mod to make an outstandingly detailed and realistic tank. The survival sandbox game provides players with the tools and resources to create an endless assortment of digital builds. Massive projects like a Minecraft Survival server castle build achieve an impressive scale, while other fans tend to emphasize detail instead.

Through dedication and the game's wide range of different blocks, Minecraft players are able to bring surprisingly large and complex builds to life. Materials like stone, wood and glass must be collected by the player in Survival Mode, and construction is made riskier by the threat of death. Minecraft's Creative Mode, meanwhile, gives players unlimited access to every block and allows them to fly around for an overall easier experience. Large-scale builds can be completed in either mode, and the creativity of the playerbase is often awe-inspiring regardless of how they built their project. A massive Minecraft battle with tanks and warships, for example, combines detail and scale to create a realistic reenactment of an amphibious battle.

Reddit user zmilkirill recently built their own Minecraft tank, with a mod allowing them to achieve a breathtaking level of detail. The Chisels and Bits mod gives the digital architect access to extremely small blocks, which combine to form a truly realistic rendition of the World War II-era ISU-152 battle tank. The Chisels and Bits mod allows the player to create prominent curves, making the tank less blocky than the typical Minecraft build. Sandbox survivalist Steve is even included for scale, demonstrating both the large size and intricate detail of zmilkirill's creation.

Tanks are a particularly popular build for Minecraft users, but one player actually managing to create a working tank for use in block-based warfare. The working Minecraft tank build is not nearly as large or detailed as zmilkirill's ISU-152, but it does get points for functionality. The tank uses a number of sticky pistons to push itself along the ground, though it only seems capable of traveling in a straight line. Its large barrel is composed of TNT blocks and a dispenser, allowing it to theoretically shoot explosives at enemies. However, in practice it only seems capable of driving into a wall and gloriously self-destructing.

Minecraft tanks come in all shapes and sizes, but zmilkirill has achieved an unprecedented level of detail using the Chisels and Bits mod. The tiny blocks allow for an impressive level of detail on the ISU-152, with the creation not even resembling a Minecraft build from a distance. While the tank may not function, its appearance would be enough to intimidate any foe into a swift surrender.
