A dedicated Minecraft player has created a 1:3 scale recreation of Star Fox's Great Fox ship, as seen in the Wii U's Star Fox Zero. The impressive and highly-detailed build took the creator a year to make, and demonstrates just how realistic Minecraft builds can get thanks to the game's wide variety of tools and features.

Minecraft is one of the most versatile games for creators and builders, giving players the ability to design and build almost any creation imaginable. While some designs can be completed in a short sitting, some of the more detailed Minecraft creations can take months, if not years, of hard work, dedication, and patience. Players of the Mojang game have put their time to good use when building over long periods, with other year-long designs bringing to life recreations from movies like Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, and even a recently-shared detailed Minecraft highway, spanning 10 kilometers in length.

As spotted by NintendoLife, berg_ of PlanetMinecraft has shared their incredible take on the Star Fox Great Fox, which offers a new way for fans of the Wii U game to explore and roleplay aboard the classic ship. The creator spent a year working on their build, which doesn't just offer a highly-detailed exterior, but also ways for Fox McCloud and friends to relax on board with cafes, swimming pools, and more. The ship features full redstone lighting and functioning cannons, showing just how much work has gone into the recreation. Fans can find a detailed tour of the Star Fox ship on the creator's YouTube channel, Nathan Berglund, and download it for themselves via PlanetMinecraft.

The incredible Minecraft recreation includes multiple references to the Star Fox franchise, offering lots for Nintendo fans to discover when onboard the impressive ship themselves. The creation doesn't only highlight how deep Minecraft's building tools go, but also the dedication of the builder, who notes that they themselves were surprised at having completed the creation, especially seeing as it took them a full year to build.

Building is a staple feature of Minecraft, and next year creators will have even more to help with their builds thanks to the upcoming Minecraft The Wild update, dropping in 2022. The expansion will introduce not only new biomes and mobs, but also a new wood type, sculk blocks, and more. Before then, fans have the second part of the Minecraft Cliffs & Caves update, coming next week on November 30. With lots of new creative options coming to Minecraft, fans can expect to see even more unique and creative builds from the game's dedicated community in the future.
