Bonemeal has long reigned as one of the most helpful, accessible items in all of Minecraft with its ability to help plants and trees grow in rapid time. Thanks to one Reddit user's plugin, it also duplicates TNT, End Crystals, Glow Squids, and every other object and creature in the game. Minecraft plugins and mods have existed for about as long as the game has been around, and even simple plugins can make a world of difference in survival mode.

Alongside Skyrim and Grand Theft Auto VMinecraft remains one of the most heavily modded games of all time. Websites like Nexus Mods and Mods Online have in turn become active hubs for gamers across the world to meet and discover new and improved ways to play these games. The sheer variety of mods for Minecraft would make the head of any gamer spin, whether that mod completely overhauls the layout of the world or adds a story-based element to the game. The Minecraft Twilight Forest adventure mod serves as one of the best examples of how modding can significantly expand upon the breadth of content offered in the base game, giving players access to lengthy dungeons, dynamic boss battles, and more. Plugins on the other hand, usually change only a few specific features of the game.

Redditor fishcute has uploaded a video a plugin that allows players to duplicate any item or creature in the game by right-clicking on it while holding bonemeal. In the video, fishcute duplicates a block of TNT, an End Crystal pillar, and a Glow Squid one after the other. Right-clicking on the desired object will create at least one copy of the object per bonemeal, the number of copies depending on the type of object. When fishcute right-clicks the TNT, upwards of 20 more TNT blocks spawn in close proximity. Duplicating the End Crystal, however, requires more of an investment. One bonemeal only spawns three or four End Crystals at a time, which is around how many the game requires to revive the Ender Dragon. The Redditor's video ends with the unceremonious destruction of the End Crystals and Glow Squids as the player's field of TNT ignites and explodes. Pair this plugin with one Minecraft player's nightmarish mod for Ghasts, and players can also set up a truly horrifying confrontation for their friends.

User fishcute has posted the download link for BoneMealAnything on SpigotMC, one of the largest hubs for Minecraft server organizers and server projects. The creator of the plugin says they took inspiration from popular Minecraft YouTuber iskall85. The Redditor also encourages downloaders to reach out with any issues regarding the default uses of bonemeal. Spigot hosts several thousand pages of such plugins for players to download. While BoneMealAnything may not compare to the attention to detail of the Minecraft working chessboard plugin posted by Reddit user cupofcode, it certainly lends added versatility to any survival mode server.

Some Minecraft players may wonder at the real utility of duplicating items in bulk when they can swap in and out of creative mode at any time to give themselves unlimited stacks of any item. But the important aspect to keep in mind is these plugins are restricted to multiplayer servers, where members might not want their fellows going in and out of creative mode and taking away the challenge of the game. With this plugin, players still have to find at least one of a given object to be able to duplicate it. In addition, this way of exploiting resources is undeniably wackier than going into creative mode.
