A skillful Minecraft player has shared an impressive video of themselves performing in-game parkour stunts while changing biomes on the go. Executing airborne jumping tricks is among the most nerve-wracking and complicated activities in the game, which is why many players prefer to invest their time in much less strenuous house-building instead.

One creative Minecraft fan, for instance, managed to reimagine an ordinary ravine into a concealed underground city, which hosts a shopping street reminiscent of Harry Potter’s famous Diagon Alley. The amazing build took the author roughly 20-25 hours to complete, which is a respectable amount of time to invest in such a mesmerizing result. The subterranean project was created on a private server, and according to the author, many players have already claimed some of the existing shops for their trading needs.

As a lesson to lazy house builders, an impressive video of parkour stunts in Minecraft has been shared by choofxd on Reddit. The player has put both gaming and editing skills in the spotlight, as the video is impressive not only for the parkour skills on display but for the seamless way it shifts between biomes throughout the video. In the film, the stuntman executes flawless jumps by placing blocks beneath their feet at the right moment to keep the momentum. The final part of the video even tricks viewers into thinking that the player is jumping on the air, but in reality, it’s just a clever setup of exact coordinates and perfectly timed jumps. According to the author, that particular trick doesn’t work in newer versions of Minecraft anymore; this forced them to download a legacy client for this demonstration.

Another aspect of Minecraft that requires intense skill is the creation of Redstone devices. One of the latest examples of outstanding in-game Redstone inventions is a self-assembling railroad, which launches upon a single touch of a button. As a minecart passes by, the railway smoothly disassembles itself and hides in the walls of an underground tunnel. According to the author, this amazing display of functionality became possible thanks to unique piston designs, which were specifically created for this particular project.

Although once upon a time Minecraft’s parkour divided the community into two irreconcilable groups of haters and admirers, the latest video proves that the art of jumping can prove incredibly entertaining, at least for viewers. There are probably very few players who can effectively repeat all of choofxd’s stunts. But that’s okay, since Minecraft offers enough mechanics for anyone to discover a particular activity they enjoy, be it building, modding, or competitive jumping over lava pits.
