By traveling underground, players will be able to encounter the new Deep Dark biome, a tense and mysterious area filled with ancient ruins. The Deep Dark will contain the strange organic substance Sculk, as well as powerful loot for those brave enough to hunt for it.

The sandbox title has always been played from a first-person perspective, meaning the player themselves must do all of the necessary resource collection and building to create impressive structures. Using the real-time strategy mod, players can have others carry out their dirty work while they plan out the result.
