Merchandise for the Minecraft game series comes in a number of forms. From pixelated bedding to character-themed clothing, fans of the survival simulation game have no shortage of ways to show off their Minecraft enthusiasm. Currently, a popular option in the Minecraft collection is a large pillow buddy in the shape of a Minecraft bee. However, fans may have a hard time snagging this plush, as they are currently sold out at most major retail stores.

Bees first appeared in the Minecraft base game during December of 2019, with the Buzzy Bees 1.15 game update. The expansion added bees as a passive mob and introduced bee nests, beehives, honey blocks, and honeycombs among other mechanics. Honey can be farmed and stored in bottles to cure poison inflicted by angry bees, or other unfriendly mobs. Previous to the Buzzy Bees update, players needed to install mods to use bees, and while these mods still offer more expansive bee-keeping mechanics, the official large design of Minecraft bees make up for the simplicity of their presence.

Currently, there are plushes for most Minecraft mobs, including sheep, chickens, cows, Creepers, Zombies, Villagers, and Endermen. These plushes can be small and portable, or large enough to use as a personal pillow. Minecraft bee plushes have been available for the past year, including a giant 15" x 11" x 7" bee pillow perfect for cuddling. The Minecraft bee pillow, made by the fan merchandise company Jinx, can be found for sale on major retail websites including Target and Amazon. They can also be purchased off secondhand reseller websites like eBay and Mercari for an inflated price.

Minecraft Pillow Buddy Bees Are Being Resold At A High Price

Unfortunately, the Minecraft bee pillows have recently gained popularity, and are currently sold out at locations like Target, where their listed price is 19.99 USD. For those wanting one of these adorable pillows, creators like AngelinaLily or DrowsyBeeCrate on Etsy have recreated the plushes by hand for fans to purchase. Minecraft fans can also wait for the Jinx version of the bee buddies to come back into stock on retail store websites. This may be a better route than purchasing an official Minecraft bee plush from a potentially unreliable second-hand seller.

Another option for a large Minecraft plush currently in stock is the dolphin. Currently available on Amazon for 35.95 USD from the official Jinx store, the nearly 14" long, blue dolphins may be the perfect addition to a personal Minecraft plush collection. It is also possible the Axolotl, releasing in the upcoming Caves & Cliffs 1.17 update for Minecraft, will get a large-sized plush as well, adding another cute and cuddly option for fans to collect.
