Fans of the esteemed TV show Arcane will be delighted to see a Minecraft player's build replicating one of the crucial settings from Arcane: Zaun's undercity. Since its release in 2011, Minecraft has been used as an outlet for players to expand their creativity and imagination using block-like building features to create their own villages, valleys, and cities. Despite Minecraft's release over a decade ago, the community is stronger than ever and fans of the game will often find new and impressive builds inspired by fan-culture shows and movies such as this recent Minecraft build recreating the Southern Air Temple from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
While creating larger builds can feel like a daunting task to many players, with only cube-shaped resources as their building materials, many not only succeed but thrive when taking on these challenges. While some players use Youtube tutorials as guides to start their own massive builds, many will also use the creative mode to focus on their creations with peace of mind. One player used this mode to create an epic and detailed version of Howl's Moving Castle that expertly showcases the grandeur that Minecraft users can create within their own world. The other mode most commonly used is survival, which requires the players to gather their own supplies and survive hunger and enemies, making focusing on elaborate builds more difficult.
After its release in November of 2021, the League of Legends TV show, Arcane, has received rave reviews from both video game and TV show fans alike. Now, with fans of the Netflix series having to wait until at least 2023 for the next season, fans are having to find new ways to showcase their love for the show. Reddit user and Minecraft player, Fireafinity, took their Arcane-inspired build a step further than most big builds and decided to use Minecraft's survival mode while building Zaun's undercity. While this mode was not necessary it adds another level of atmosphere and love put into this build as the undercity is a place of survival and is a crucial setting within the TV show.

Fireafinity's creation showcases a poisonous green river running through the center, as well as a ramshackle town. In the distance, one can see the tower from the highly emotional scene in episode six, in which Jinx lights her flair as a call out for her long-lost sister, Vi. This creation is acclaimed for being highly atmospheric as well as encapsulating the eerie aesthetic that Silco created within the undercity he controlled.
Every build in Minecraft, no matter how detailed or big, showcases each individual player's creativity and passion, which is a large reason for this game's ability to thrive across the years. It is always exciting seeing new builds created and supported by fans, and this only breeds further creativity. Hopefully, fans will start seeing more builds inspired by the beloved TV show Arcane.
