James Harris and David Parns are leaving Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles after seven seasons. The first series in the Million Dollar Listing franchise, Bravo cameras have followed the personal and professional lives of realtors since 2006. Showcasing the expensive real estate markets of Beverly Hills and Malibu, California, James and David joined the cast of MDLLA season 7 and, like Josh Flagg and Josh Altman, have become two of the most recognizable figures.

Since joining Million Dollar Listing almost a decade ago, James and David have made names for themselves not just within the franchise but also in the real estate world. While the duo has been mistaken for brothers, James and David are best friends from England who have known each other since childhood. Throughout their time on MDLLA, viewers have watched both men establish valuable connections that have allowed them to sell beautifully upscaled California homes. James and David landed a whopping $48 million deal during their first season, for example, while season 8 showed them managing a $6 million sale. Besides enjoying their sales tactics, viewers have also gotten to know their respective families. David and his wife, Adrian Abnosi, announced they were expecting their second child in February, while James and his wife, Valerita, bought their two children a puppy for Christmas.

Despite their growing popularity with Bravo fans over the years, James and David posted joint statements announcing that they would not be returning for Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles season 14 on Instagram. Acknowledging their humble beginnings and how their lives have changed since moving to Los Angeles in 2012, James and David wrote, "We never intended to come to Los Angeles to be on TV, and as fate had it, we started shooting [MDLLA] which changed our businesses and our lives." Admitting that they thought "long and hard" about leaving the show, James and David insinuated that they have outgrown their time with Bravo, saying, "We feel the time has come to move on and leave the show which in many ways has defined us."

Thanking their supporters and vowing that they "won't stop" working in the real estate market, James and David teased that their decision to leave Million Dollar Listing is a precursor to other opportunities, promising that "this is just the end of chapter one," with many more to come. Although fans of James and David are happy for the duo, several Instagram users are confused by the announcement and are hoping for a more detailed explanation. Others who consider James and David to be standouts of the program are wishing their favorite London duo the best but are nonetheless disappointed. To lessen the blow and promote their outside work, James and David advertised one of their newest adventures in the comments, with their newsletter The Blueprint, writing, "To stay up to date with James and David’s real estate adventures be sure to subscribe to The Blueprint, their free real estate newsletter."

With MDLLA season 14 about to begin filming, fans of the show are anxious to see how Bravo's newest season will differ from the previous ones. James and David aren't the only realtors who will be missing from the show, after all, as Fredrik Ecklund left the Million Dollar Listing franchise in January. Josh Flagg, Josh Altman and Tracy Tutor are shaping up to be the leads of Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles season 14. Although the three are popular, there's no doubt that viewers will miss seeing James and David's faces.
