They say a rough day at the sea is better than any day in the office. Bet Million Dollar Beach House’s Peggy Zabakolas strongly disagrees. While a sunny afternoon spent in the Hamptons brings with it merriment and joy, all Peggy Z experienced on her office yacht trip was tension that could be cut with a cheese knife. The 32-year-old real estate broker from Nest Seekers is now sharing the story of her sabotage on Netflix’s Million Dollar Beach House.
The now-infamous boat ride was organized by realtor Michael Fulfree as a way of getting the team to unwind and resolve their issues in a cordial manner. Tensions had escalated between co-workers Noel Roberts and Peggy over a house showing where he had spoken in an off-putting manner with one of her clients. After a massive confrontation at an open house organized by Nest Seekers, as well as a heated argument later at the office, the issue had escalated rapidly. So, on the company’s private yacht, as the team of agents knocked back drinks, Michael bought the topic up. While Noel seemed to take it in stride by trying to make amends, Peggy felt uncomfortable and attacked by the team. The Netflix show’s viewers saw her lashing out at Michael and walking away from the discussion at that point. But Michael later cleared the air in a discussion with Peggy back at the office. Things seem to have been going pretty well for Peggy since then, owing to her professionalism, but the boat incident still makes her uneasy when the Million Dollar Beach House star is reminded of it.
While speaking with Oprah Mag, Peggy aka Panagiota Zabakolas mentioned how she had walked into the boat “happy and excited” thinking that she and her Million Dollar Beach House co-stars were “going to be jolly and friends.” Peggy shared that she really needed the break as she was “super stressed” with work while juggling her New York City and Hamptons projects. “It felt like an ambush. I had thought certain things were dropped, but I guess they weren't,” added the Queens native. She recalled feeling “not so great” while leaving, and confused about everything that was going on. “That was really a pivotal point in my relationship with everyone,” she spoke about Michael, Noel, JB Andreassi, James Giugliano, Chloe Pollack-Robbins, and Anna Cappelen who accompanied her on the yacht party.
The Million Dollar Beach House celeb remembered how her colleagues kept repeating that she was “perceiving” things in a “certain type of way.” Peggy was very much aware of people talking behind her back and wished for someone to have taken her aside instead of ganging up on her. “The truth has come out,” claimed Peggy before mentioning that it’s all good between her and her Million Dollar Beach House castmates now. “Naturally people are going to add drama when you put them in a room together,” was Peggy’s opinion. However, she admitted that she, “really wanted to jump off that boat,” in conclusion.
Million Dollar Beach House’s viewers do not agree with Peggy’s views. Quite a few Netflix fans feel that Peggy dragged the whole situation with Noel longer than necessary. They pointed out that being a team player, Peggy should have accepted Noel’s apology the first time and moved on by never collaborating with him again. Unprofessional or not, Peggy has gained her league of followers owing to Million Dollar Beach House’s popularity as well. The “Peggy Z Team” seems to be growing by thousands, if not millions, and Nest Seeker’s star agent is certainly riding the waves of success.
