Stranger Things Star Visits the Avengers: Infinity War Set

Millie Bobby Brown in Stranger Things

Two of the biggest pop culture phenomena in recent memory has been the continued success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but most recently Stranger Things became a breakout hit through Netflix. Riding off that success has been Millie Bobby Brown, who played Eleven, and has continued to stay busy since her breakout role. She will obviously be back for season two of the hit Netflix series, and has since lined up a role in Godzilla: King of Monsters.

So what is next for Brown? That is not clear as she is already busy, but the MCU could be an option. While the reasoning for this piece of news is not known, Brown has recently been revealed to have visited the set of Avengers: Infinity War. Is this a simple visit, or could she have a secret role lined up, that is not so secret anymore?

The Russo Brothers Facebook page posted a photo of Brown sitting alongside directors Joe and Anthony Russo on the set of Infinity War watching the screen of whatever they are filming at the time. Brown's apparel is much more casual compared to someone who could be filming scenes, and with Stranger Things also filming in Atlanta, it's not like she had to travel far for the visit.

Set visits from friends of film crews are not uncommon, but Brown's will certainly raise some eyebrows. If she is being courted for a Marvel role, it would be highly unlikely for this photo to surface. Marvel would not allow this photo to become public if that was the case, and the quality of the photo looks staged rather than something was secretly taken on set.

That said, it would not be surprising to learn that Marvel was looking at Brown for a role within their universe. They have developed a pattern to attract the top talent in the industry, and Brown is one of Hollywood's fastest rising stars, so she would absolutely fit the bill of the type actors Marvel wants. There are a number of possibilities for her to play on the big and small screen, but in this case it is best not to get ahead of ourselves. She could very well join the MCU at a later date, but this photo is not likely an indicator that she will appear in Infinity War. That said, you can never truly count Marvel out at pulling a surprise, so this could be a story to keep an eye on throughout production.
