My 600-lb Life season 4 star Milla Clark has one of the greatest success stories in the show's history. When Milla's 2016 episode began, she was 47 years old. She hadn't stood up in over two years because of a lymphedema that started to develop when she was 40. Her five children had to do everything for her because her husband, Elroy, had health issues of his own. Milla sought help from the renowned bariatric surgeon, Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, AKA Dr. Now. Milla and her whole family moved from Fayetteville, Tennessee, to Houston, Texas, so that she could start his program. She weighed 751 pounds at the start of her weight loss journey.

After Milla lost 110 pounds, My 600-lb Life's Dr. Now removed her lymphedema, which removed 43 pounds from her body. Dr. Now's next goal for Milla was to get her out of bed so she could qualify for weight loss surgery. However, Milla was afraid of falling, so she saw a therapist to figure out what was holding her back. After a year, Milla was able to stand for a moment to get weighed. She had lost 153 pounds total and weighed 598.8 pounds, which allowed Dr. Now to approve her for weight loss surgery.
