Logan Paul is set to face Floyd Mayweather Jr in a boxing match in February of this year. Recently, he got the chance to talk about his upcoming fight with none other than Mike Tyson. The former heavyweight champion did not hold back.

Logan Paul has been training in boxing for three years now. Over the years, he has fought fellow Youtuber KSI two times amassing a record of 0-1-1. While unimpressive, this has not stifled Paul's confidence in his own boxing abilities. In his next fight he will face pound for pound boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. Naturally, many doubters and critics have ascended from the woodworks, but on a recent podcast Logan received a harsh reality check.

In his latest interview, the YouTuber featured heavyweight knockout artist Mike Tyson on his Youtube podcast Impaulsive giving the boxer an opportunity to voice his opinion on Paul's upcoming matchup. For context, Tyson arrived on the podcast and allegedly ate four grams of magic mushrooms on air. When asked about his opinion on Logan Paul vs Floyd Mayweather, Tyson looked Logan dead in the eyes and with a wry grin proclaimed, "Floyd is going to beat your f**king a**!" Paul responded by asking the former heavyweight champ, "You don't think there's going to be an opportunity to land a big punch on Floyd?" Tyson proceeded."Let me tell you something about Floyd. He's in that gym. He doesn't do drugs that's his heroin, the gym." Tyson of course is referring to Mayweather's well known monster work ethic where he is said to do things such as sprinting non stop for mile long intervals (see clip below).

However, the most interesting takeaway from this excerpt may provide fight fans with crucial knowledge on what Logan expects out of himself while facing a boxer like Mayweather. Earlier this week members of Logan's fight camp echoed sentiments that he would have to leverage all of his size and strength advantage to gain the upper hand on the boxer. Mayweather has spent his entire career as arguably the best defensive boxer of all time having showcased reflex abilities that make him virtually untouchable as a punching target. Knowing this, Logan is likely not going in to the fight expecting to land many shots.

Therefore, it makes sense for him to ask arguably the greatest heavyweight knockout artist ever about his thoughts on having a "puncher's chance." Logan fully expects to walk into the fight looking to hit Mayweather one time with all of his strength and size and hopes that will be enough to end the fight. The issue is that there has not been one time in Mayweather's 20-year career where fans have gotten the luxury to witness anything like that happen. And it's not like the boxer hasn't faced heavy hitters. To name a few Mayweather has previously faced: Ricky Hatton, Marcos Maidana (2), Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Arturo Gatti, Victor Ortiz, Juan Manuel Marquez and the list goes on. For those who are unaware, each of those competitors are well known for possessing devastating punching power. With that being said, even with a considerable size advantage it's unlikely that Paul's abilities would supersede the likes of any of those fighters. Although, crazier things have happened.
