The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers reunites several cast members from the movie trilogy, so which performers make cameos? The Disney+ series features the original franchise star Emilio Estevez as Gordon Bombay, who helps create a junior hockey team that competes against elite high school hockey programs in Minnesota. Lauren Graham co-stars in The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers as the founder of the focal team known as the Don't Bothers.

Created by Adam Sandler collaborator Steven Brill, The Mighty Ducks movie trilogy released between 1992 and 1996. The first series installment became a box office hit and pop culture phenomenon and the sequel did almost as well. However, the third movie somewhat failed to match the hype of the first two, but by then, the series was so successful it even spawned a Disney-owned NHL team in the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (now just the Anaheim Ducks). Brill and producer Jordan Kerner discussed a series continuation with Disney over the years, but a full quarter-century passed between D3: The Mighty Ducks and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.

In the streaming era, Disney+'s Mighty Ducks revival works especially well as Disney's response to Netflix's Cobra Kai. There's a family-friendly story about underdog athletes, while Graham is a recognizable performer who excels at portraying a relatable Midwestern mom. Of course, the TV show also provides some nostalgia, evidenced by Estevez's return and his episode 6 reunion with several of the original franchise cast members. Here's every cameo in The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.

Matt Doherty As Lester Averman

He imitates Rob Schneider's Saturday Night Live character The Richmeister in The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers and admires his mid-'90s hair. Doherty appeared in the 1993 Mike Myers comedy So I Married an Axe Murderer and had an uncredited role in the 2012 Oscar winner Argo.
