Season 2 of Sex Education hasn't disappointed its fans, for it has managed to introduce new storylines and characters while maintaining the same tone. The old characters grow and change, and the new ones are surprisingly original and fun. The show has managed to make the continuation as good and entertaining as the first part.

In the second season, the public gets to know the old characters more deeply, making it possible to determine their personalities more accurately, according to the Myer-Briggs Personality Type Indicator. You can find out which of the main characters you related to the most by reading their personality description below.

Viv Odesanya: ISTJ

Viv Odesanya was introduced in the second season as one of the smartest students of the school. She bonds with Jackson and the main girl characters throughout the series. She fits the ISTJ (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) personality type for she's practical, hardworking, realistic, and responsible. She is always working hard to achieve her goals, and although she might be quite serious and quiet, she is a great friend as she highly values loyalty, like most people with this personality type.

Otis Milburn: INFP

Otis Milburn

Otis has grown and changed a lot throughout these two seasons. His personality was odd and reserved at first, which is a quite common INFP (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving) trait. INFPs, just like him, prefer not to talk about themselves, especially if they've just met the person. Otis is intelligent, and he can sometimes get lost in his thoughts and daydreams. He's introverted, however, he maintains an active social life even when considered weird or unusual.

Aimee Gibbs: ESFJ

Aimee Gibbs

Aimee is naive and distracted, but also very outgoing and generous. Initially, she was one of the popular snob kids, therefore she used to pretend to be like them.

Further on, she turned out to be different from her popular friends, as she proved to be gregarious, caring, and happy to socialize with anybody. She remains popular because of how likable she is, which is a typical characteristic of ESFJs (Extraverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging).

Jackson Marchetti: ENFP

Just like most ENFPs, Jackson is outgoing, energetic, and passionate. He often operates from his feelings- like when he blackmailed headmaster Groff in an attempt to stop him from expelling Maeve from school. He is a kind person that likes to be around other people, and who's also very intuitive and perceptive, as he quickly figured whom his ex-girlfriend truly was in love with. Moreover, as typical of ENFPs (Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving), he is drawn to art in the second season, more specifically, drawn to theatre and acting.

Jean Milburn: ESTP

Jean Milburn

Jean is an outgoing person who can sometimes appear insensitive, which is why she has the ESTP (Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving) personality. People with this personality type commonly prefer keeping situations simple and quick, rather than serious and complicated; because of that, they can seem incapable of being serious or emotional. Jean, initially, avoids serious relationships and complicated situations, keeping life simple and practical. However, ESTPs aren't incapable of loving. Indeed, she eventually realizes she has real feelings for her lover and that she should bring her mindset up-to-date.

Maeve Wiley: INTP

Just like Maeve, most INTPs (Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perceiving) seem to be externally cool, but privately they're really smart individuals with complicated and active minds.

Maeve presents other traits typical of this personality type. She's introverted and, unlike Jackson, she doesn't make decisions from her heart but through logic and reason, as she's a detached observer who prefers preserving her feelings instead of getting hurt.

Ola Nyman: ISFJ

Ola is possibly the most sincere and loving character of the show, and because of that, she has the ISFJ (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Judging) personality type. The common traits of this type generally are generosity, enthusiasm in their approach to life and people, open-mindedness, and unselfishness. Even though her relationship with Otis did not work out, Ola has been honest about her feelings and is kind in the break-up process. She can be sensitive, but also very caring, kind, and loyal.

Eric Effiong: ISFP

Eric Effiong

Eric is so much more than the main protagonist's best friend. Eric might have the ISFP (Introverted, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving) personality as he initially is introverted when it comes to interacting with new people, but once he connects with the person he warms up and becomes very friendly. People with this personality type are typically enthusiastic and want to live their life to the fullest, and they usually appreciate meeting new people more than the other introvert types.

Lily Iglehart: INFJ

INFJs are often referred to as idealists with an incredible imagination and fantasy. Lily often lives in her fantasies, and her imagination is brilliant, as she proves at the school's recital that she wrote. She's creative, dedicated, and inventive. Just like most people with the INFJ (Introversion, Intuition, Feeling, and Judging) personality, she can often be discouraged by reality and its harsh facts. However, she maintains an active approach instead of giving up.

Adam Groff: ISTP

Like most people with the ISTP (Introverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving) personality, Adam can be cold, aloof, reserved, and mysterious. Moreover, he usually doesn't show off his personality traits as much as the other characters and types do. Further on in the series, however, he turns out to be spontaneous, unpredictable, and capable of being affectionate. By publicly confessing his feelings to Eric, he also proves to prefer action, gestures, and facts to long conversations.
