Meghan Markle's friendship with I Do, Redo host Jessica Mulroney was over before her white privilege scandal. It seems Meghan was happy to cut ties with her dearest friend leaving many to wonder where her loyalties fall.

Jessica Mulroney was made for the spotlight, especially when she became close with Meghan Markle. The aspiring actress met Markle when she was pre-royalty back in 2011, and the two have been besties ever since. The Canadian even was rumored to have picked out Markle’s wedding dress. Mulroney's children, Ivy, Brian, and John attended the royal wedding. Mulroney made a name for herself as she continuously stood up for her best friend when the Duchess received backlash for her undesirable decisions.

Duchess Meghan Markle is not happy with Jessica Mulroney's comments to a black blogger that threatened her livelihood and showed her white privilege, but it seemed their friendship was on the rocks long before this comment. According to Page Six, the girls were already having trouble in paradise with the tone-deaf remarks being the last straw. Mulroney had been an intricate part of introducing Markle to the Toronto social scene back when the two first met. It has come to light that Markle had increasingly started to feel that Mulroney was “benefiting” from her friendship with the royal. Now the Duchess has found her excuse to cut off their friendship for good. Markle believes that Mulroney was given opportunities due to her connections with the royal family. What makes the breakup most awkward is the fact that Mulroney is one of Archie’s godparents. Good thing Prince Harry and Markle had backups.

The I Do, Redo host's Instagram was blasted for "white privilege" recently thanks to a Canadian lifestyle blogger, Sasha Exeter, who called out Mulroney for her silence during the Black Lives Matter resurgence. In a video posted to her Instagram, she told followers that she tried not to call anyone out directly. She holds on to that sentiment for a short minute, then reveals that a “very prominent Canadian” who she is friends with had recently been on the offensive regarding one of the Lifestyle Manager’s social media stories. Exeter went on to detail that Mulroney stated in writing that she had spoken to “companies and people” about the way Exeter had supposedly treated Mulroney “unfairly.” Exeter said she felt threatened since most of her income comes from working with companies and brands.

Since the news broke about Mulroney’s aggressive attacks, she has been let go from all her shows, including ABC’s Good Morning America and her I Do, Redo show on CTV. While she did release a statement, she still failed to address the facts that she privately attacked Exeter leaving many to wonder if she had even learned her lesson.
