Who is Meghan Markle's BFF and I Do, Redo host Jessica Mulroney? The Canadian socialite found herself in hot water after she was called out for her lack of support for BLM.

Jessica Mulroney first found the spotlight when she became close with Meghan Markle. The aspiring actress met Markle when she was pre-royalty back in 2011, and the two have been besties ever since. Mulroney's children, Ivy, Brian, and John even attended the royal wedding. Mulroney, who also happens to be a stylist, reportedly helped Markle pick out the right wedding dress designer for her big day. However, haters continue to hate. Mulroney made a name for herself as she continuously stood up for her best friend, Markle when the Duchess received backlash for her decisions.

Mulroney was a Canadian fashion stylist who used to regularly do segments for the television shows Good Morning America and CityLine. Mulroney started her career in communications, working for the bridal firm Kleinfeld. The mother of three is married to Ben Mulroney since tying the know in 2008 who is the son of former prime minister Brian Mulroney. Ben also works in entertainment as he hosts Your Morning and is the host of Canadian Idol. The city of Toronto has dubbed them one of the most polished couples as they are seen to hold an immense amount of power.

The I Do, Redo host, Instagram was blasted for "white privilege" recently thanks to a Canadian lifestyle blogger, Sasha Exeter, who called out Mulroney for her silence during the Black Lives Matter resurgence. In a video posted to her Instagram, she told followers that she tried not to call anyone out directly. She holds on to that sentiment for a short minute, then reveals that a “very prominent Canadian” who she is friends with had recently been on the offensive regarding one of the Lifestyle Manager’s social media stories. Exeter went on to detail that Mulroney stated in writing that she had spoken to “companies and people” about the way Exeter had supposedly treated Mulroney “unfairly.” Exeter said she felt threatened since most of her income comes from working with companies and brands. Mulroney has since posted a video apology where she has said her close friendship with Markle has “deeply educated” the host about race inequality. Fans of Exeter were not satisfied with the host’s response as they felt she had not taken responsibility for the fact that she had threatened the fashion blogger saying her apology meant nothing.

Mulroney was not used to being called out of her name as she has grown up and lived with a silver spoon in her mouth. The Mulroney family also has ties to the Trumps. They recently spent time in Mar-a-Lago. Hopefully, for Jessica, she has taken the lesson she learned to heart and will try to improve herself.
